101 Days, Home Tomorrow

This is Erica's Entry:

hello all, this is just a small message to tell you all that chanel is still alive even after tonights harrowing adventures during loud hour. and yes, it is only an hour due to exams. it all started when i locked kallie into her room on the quest for the elusive vacuum. this small trick that i taught to kallie intrigued her, so we decided to take it to a larger scale. a random attack on a first floor resident. we knocked on the door while kallie held it shut while twisting the knob. oh the mayhem that ensued. we ended up retiring to our humble abode, where we saw an interesting snow message. TAMMIE. that is what this message was telling us. we decided that the coded message was telling us that everyone with an -ie in thier name was crazy... kallIE, ErIca, lEwIs. the whole gang. anywho, we go for a small adventure and get marlin, and once he is added to our entourage, we decide to play a small prank on the sam unsuspecting first floor resident. we had a small amount of fake fecal matter in the form of caramel. awesome. we place it and run. and we almost got away with it to, if it wasnt for those medling kids and their dog... actually no, it was cam who gave away our position. so we ran. and we ran and ran. and then we lost kallie, our partner in this, so we had to back and find her, so we ran up to fourth floor in the creepy backstair way. and that is when the attack happened. kallie lunged for my knees, causing me to fall to the ground in fear. we picked up the first flor resident, who is named kurt, with an IE in his middle name... hence crazy... then we ran back home and made interesting puppets out of jotogo cups. we ended the evening with a small round of childhood stories and reminising. oh prince george family, i will miss you :)

including half a pizza i split with Kallie, which we waited an hour for :(

All in all not a bad day, just a day where not much was accomplished.

But I am closer to getting home

My Chem exam this morning was long, but it wasn't difficult.

Then adventures began
Kallie and I went downtown for dinner and random shopping adventures
The we rushed back to the school to drop off our stuff because we had to drop off our stuff before catching another bus to go to a candle lit Vigil for Climate change
we basically stood around in the cold with candles walked a block chanted things listened to speeches, sang a song entitles the 12 days of Copenhagen

Then we froze our butts some more when waiting for the bus, and it sucked.

I am so close to home I can hardly stand it :D:D:D:D:D:D

3/5 Finals are complete

The physics final today kinda kicked my butt, just a little, it was not what I was expecting at all it was way too focused on the end of the semester which was the harder portion, which sucked, but now it is done and over with and I am glad

Tomorrow morning I have Chemistry which I am not too worries about, but the getting up early part kinda sucks :(

Today basically the only thing I accomplished was watching 3 hours of CSI and getting some knitting done, oh and I got my bus pass for next semester :)

Today I should of done more studying but the people who live above us were making a shit ton of noise smashing cans and it was rather distracting

I did however go to a step pump class, and I am going to be sore tomorrow and I will also have to get some studying done tomorrow and possible some laundry :) oh yay the joys of laundry.

2/5 Exams are complete.

This morning i had my bio final and it was okay, It wasn't great, it wasn't horrible it was just okay and my English Final was a joke, and I am so glad to be done with that.

Today is my study free, because I figure writing two finals is punishment enough.
I did however brave the -20 weather and go downtown to have sushi with Kallie, Lindsay, Katie, Liz and Erika. It was delicious and I think I may have been the reason that our green tea was on the house because when we sitting down I mentioned how in the sushi places I ever go to Green tea is free, but at this place they charge for it, but they didn't charge us :P Because I am super awesome. Having Dinner out was a blast and there were many laughs had, such as everyone laughing at the idea of me pissing everywhere. We mentioned having a green tea chuging contest, Katie said she would throw up everywhere I on the other hand decided to say that I would piss everywhere if we were to do that.

We also discovered that I am the best at sticking large sushi rolls in my mouth, I think Lindsay cam in second :) So today I discovered/confirmed that i have a large mouth, lol It was suggested that I should add that to my resume, though i don't know how my future employers would take it, so I think i will leave that fact about myself off of my resume at least for now.

I managed to get back from sushi just in time to watch the Grinch on TV and now I am in a christmas mood and I am so excited about going home in a week :)

Tomorrow in the Dawning of University Finals

Today was more Studying for bio and also a lot of study break, I swear I cannot stand to read anything more biology related at this point in time and I will just have to go into the exam and hope for the best, and my English exam tomorrow I am not too worried about and there was no way that I could really prep for it anyways.

Today as a study break there was Wii night and card making and a floor meeting and Guess who won the Wii???

Unfortunately not me, but my Friend Kallie did win and it was an exciting moment and then we paraded around showing he Wii off to some people it was good times, and it was nice to see someone I know win, but I'm not going to like I am a little jealous, not so much of the Wii, but because I never win anything and it would of been nice to win something, but oh well.

I should be heading off to bed soon as I do have two exams tomorrow.

I am not a studier

Today consisted of me sleeping in
finally getting out of bed
Having mini wheats
Then the studying began,
I read over bio chapters, looked of physics and chem midterms, read through the bio study guide, took bio online quizzes, and stuff like that and I am really not a studier, this next week is gunna be hard, I find I get really distracted and my head starts to hurt when i study and it is rather unpleasant to say the least, but I need to study because I need to do well.

Today I calculated that I need to get and 81 on the Bio Final in order to get and A in the course and I have that Final on Monday at 9am :S and I am a little nervous, but I will study more tomorrow and hopefully it will all go well.

I also posted today on a UNBC Textbook thing on facebook to try and sell some of my textbooks, and I'm hoping people will be interested and maybe I can make more money off of them than I would if I sold them back to the bookstore, I know for sure that I can sell my physics, math and English texts, Though I am contemplating keeping one of my English books just to have for future reference, but the more I think about it, the more I'm thinking NO, I'll just sell it if I can.

I feel like I have accomplished a fair bit today, But I am still nervous for my two finals on Monday, But I am excited that on Monday it will be one week until I go home, I can hardly wait. I miss home <3

Friday Friday Friday LAST DAY OF CLASSES

Today was my last 4 lectures if my first semester at UNI and let's just say I'm a little excited, I'm almost 1/8 of the way through a bachlor's degree which is sweet however I do not look forward to my upcoming exams but I do look forward to going home afterwards.

So anyways My day,
Following my final lectures I went to my room and made french toast and did some bio studying and then Kallie and Erica and I went to this thing at Books & Co. with some guys from first floor and it was a band performing and our friend Cameron was in two songs playing the trumpet and the digerydo, and it was enjoyable, minus me falling on the ice twice when we were going to the bus on our way downtown and the fact that it was so cold, but oh funny story, kallie keeps getting locked out of her room so this happened again tonight and she didnt have her bus pass or a sweater or anything so Erica lent her a sweater and she was going to attempt to get on the bus using Ryan's meal card and on the way down it worked fine, but on the way back we all get on the bus and the driver calls Kallie back and she actually shows him the meal card, and then she ends up having to pay :(, and the funny thing is, that Erica tried to give Kallie her Bus pass so she could try and pass it off as hers :) It was good times.

Once we got back we didnt feel like doing much and we hung out with Katie and Lindsay for a bit and then eventually it was just Erica Katie and I and we just spent time chatting about random topics and it was a lot of fun.

I feel like I am forgetting something of importance.... hmmmmm.. oh well

Oh random fact Erica Jill and I had a lovely conversation about piercings before we all went our separate ways into our rooms to presumably go to sleep, which clearly I am not doing at least not at this moment.

I'm kinda sad cause I wont be getting a phone call tonight, but I understand, :)

Anyways I have a long day of studying tomorrow, but oh guess what, some drunk guys just opened the door to our room shouting for Jeremy, luckily as I was about to go tell them they had the wrong room they left and I locked the door, I hope to not hear from them again.

I have basically completed my todo list for the day :)

I completed my Bio lab exam :)
I attended my last physics 115 lecture :D

I napped, because I don't feel well and all I wanna do is sleep

I had a potluck Dinner to Leslie's and Kallie's with Erica, Devon, Melissa, Katie, Lindsay, and Nicole, we had pasta and yam fries and salad and chocolate cheese cake and this potatoe thing, and cream puffs, so basically I now weigh like 10 more pounds, I need to get to the gym at least once this weekend, I feel like a blob :(
But the Dinner was fun,
Lots of good times laughing a losers on lover court :D

I also made some lentil sound today and it is delicious.

I am also one day closer to being home and I am so excited :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I can't wait to go home and see my friends and Family and Danny and my pets and to not have to worry about school and to not have to pay to do laundry and to not freeze at night, because PG is cold :(

I'm super stoked on going to Victoria for a few days with Brittany and Alyssa, It will be just like old times, except we're not 11 anymore :), we're getting old guys :P

Today was a long day but it went by rather quickly
I got my essay for english edited
My chem prof rushed through the lecture
I got my math midterm back 88%
My bio prof did and imitation of the courtship ritual of the blue footed boobie, which was soooooooo amusing

I had my chem lab exam, which wasn't too bad, I also go my formal lab write up back which I got 35/40 on so I was pleased,

My todo list for the day was completed

I gave Erica, Kallie and Emily their christmas gifts and Jill's is sitting outside her door waiting for her to come home :)

All in all a good day, and I'm one day closer to being home

But did plan out all that I have to do in the next two weeks, which made me feel rather productive.

I also worked on math and my chem assignment today, but I did not however study for my lab exams, which I will have to do tomorrow.

I ALSO got my first Christmas gift today, from my awesome roommate ERICA!!!!!!
She even wrapped it :) I go tea, that was in a really pretty and cool bag, and it was awesomely exciting, I have also thought of gift ideas for some people :D

anyway Chanel needs sleep, for she is tired and still ill.

Today I managed to get some review done and most of my chem lab as well.

I also went a saw a play by the UNBC drama club called check please and it was really funny and amusing and it was a good way to get out of the dorms.

Then, after major procrastination Kallie and Erica and I watched the Girl next door again and it was good times.

Today I actually finished the draft of my essay and I read over my bio labs, but thats about it, I still haven't been feeling all too well. I also went to another Timberwolves game today, I saw the second half of the men's game and we won but it was not as good as yesterday's games at all, the crowd was smaller and people lacked enthusiasm, though luckily this time Kallie managed to catch something which made her super happy considering 3 things were tossed her way yesterday and she didnt get anything, I am happy for her, but now I want to catch something. :)

I am almost at the two week mark and I am excited but nervous because of how much I have to get done, But i will get it done and everything will be all good. I can't wait to be home, I miss it!

This morning, I had a morning phone call rather than a nightly phone call for a change, :D followed by a hot shower :)
Followed by four hours of class consisting of a math midterm and also a PLTL following my classes.

Though I should of got some work done today, I did not and instead I went to the Home opener basketball games with Kallie, Katie and Erica and it was so much fun, we all has pigtails and "warrior: face paint and we were utter dorks and we cheered loud and hard and both timberwolves teams kicked butt :P

Following the games we played some scatagories an learned how to play this weird cup rhythm game thingy, which was so very addicting.

Then I came back to my room to talk to Mr Loubert when he was on his break and now I'm thinking I need to lie down because my back is killing me and I'm sick and I should try and rest considering the busy homework filled weekend I have a head of me

OMG I FORGOT

I forgot to write in my blog yesterday, I am so mad at myself, how could I forget.

anyways yesterday wasnt all that interesting, physics was boring and the bio lab was kind of annoying, but it wasn't too bad, I spoke to my granny yesterday for about half an hour and we had a lovely chat,

Basically yesterday was all about procrastination... anything to get out of doing homework, and Erica was in the same boat as me, though Danny did do something kinda funny, He called Erica's phone pretending to be from Procrastination services and the look on Erica's face was amazing.

Anyways I must do chem and I will remember to post tonight.

Long Day, GLEE was good, But I on the other hand may not be doing so good....

I'm finding it hard to focus in class because I feel like I'm always tired or just not feeling well and I don't really have time to rest :(, but just 19 more days and then I can rest.

Today was a long day, it felt longer than my Wednesdays usually feel, though my chem lab was kind of interesting, we made aspirin, unfortunately we are not able to ingest our product because it is too crudely made, but it was still rather interesting to do.

After my lab, I had dinner and I did a bit more research for my english paper which I really need to start writing,

Then I spoke to my dad followed by my mom, followed by Danny and I had some very nice conversations with them all.

Oh and it has been established that I'm gunna probably go to Victoria with Alyssa for a few days when I'm home, oh and also my mother wishes to meet Danny :)

I think I will now bundle up in comfy warm clothes and lye down and hope that I feel better in the morning.

20 Days till I'm home

Today i got my physics midterm back and I got 65 which is okay, I thought I had done better but at least I passed. Then I took a two hour nap and I went grocery shopping and came home and had some lunch and I did my chem lab prep and some physic homework. I also started to clean my room and I added a bow to my bedroom door which is already wrapped in paper for christmas.

I also bought a "Merry Christmas" Banner which we hung above the window.

Emil invited Erica and I down to her grandma's place to have dinner with her dad grandma and aunte, we had pizza and salad and it was delicious. Emily's family is so nice a cute and it was so nice to get off campus,it was a goodevening and when I got home I cleaned my room some more and I talked to alyssa on msn and I am now on the phone with Danny before her starts his night shift.

I think I may be getting sick :(

To sum it up, we had too much sugar and ran about the dorms leaving notes and cookies at peoples doors and it was a jolly good time, we decorated our front door for christmas :)

I woke up this morning and I was not feeling well
And then we had the gingerbread decorating contest and it was fun, but we didnt win...
I basically spent the rest of the day being lazy and lying down and knitting

Now I want more rest so no more computer for me...

rez challenge = Epic Fail

Today I was supposed to get stuff done but I accomplished basically nothing

Rex Challenge was today and it was Volleyball and lets just say we didnt do so well, but were missing many of the usual people and many of us were not so good at volleyball.

After volleyball I took a bath, because I was sore and had a major headache and then the fire alarm went off and I had to go out in the cold in flipflops and my pj's

After that annoyingness, I made some soup and then lied down for 1/2 an hour in hopes that my headache would go away, but it didnt and I went to girls night down the hall in N310, and it was fun we watched a movie and ate pizza and played sing star, but I was kinda tired so I returned home and I am now waiting for Danny to Call :)

Today actually was friday but it felt like thursday
I defs woke up this morning and thought I was going to be late for the midterm I took yesterday, I still dont feel like its friday

Today was good though
I had classs and then we had dinner at Kallies and there was me and emily and katie and lindsey and keith and kurt and kallie and leslie and darren? why do I always forget his name?
anyways we had pasta and salad and goodness :)
Then shortly after dinner Katie and Lindsey invited me over to make funnel cakes :D
They were delicious
Emily, Katie, Lindsey, Marlin and I all enjoyed them and we also had vodkay-tangesk-blended ice drinks made by emily.

After that we kinda drifted and watched youtube videos for a while and after more random wanderings I decided to go back to my room and I have been doing nothing since then

I had my physics midterm which was easier than expected and I am so glad that it is over.

My bio lab was the dumbest thing ever, I did not need to be in a class to do that lab, I could of done it at home.

Speaking of home it's getting closer.

Umm Today Erica left to goto Kamloops and this weekend may be a little weird without her, I feel like it's friday.

Kallie and I went to the pool and met up with Brad and Sadie? and ?
and we swam and went in the hot tub and steam room and it was good times until we missed the bus up and had to wait and hour for the next one, but we did have a strange creepy drunk man yell at us and ask us to party...

LAST PHYSICS LAB of the semester

This morning while venturing to my physics class with Erica whom was going to her First Nations class I did the unthinkable.....

I slipped on the ice while walking down the path towards the school, I guess they don't believe in salting walk ways, it's like an ice rink.

Physics was a bore followed by an attempted nap, which basically turned into me lying in bed with my clothes on and getting weird marks on myself as a result.

After that I procrastinated by making lunch and followed lunch with some physics studying which went ummm.. ok i guess. i will; try and study more tomorrow after my chem lab and before Glee.

I also had my last physics lab of the semester today and I am quite happy with that, I am also happy that I do rather well in the labs and that they are a part of my overall mark, it will definatley help me pass the course.

I have also put my chem lab in a nice duotang and it is all ready to be handed in and I am slightly nervous as it is worth 20% of my grade, but I think I did a pretty decent job of it and I hope to do well.

I just spoke with my daddy and Daniel is in quite a bit of pain from his surgery and he can't really sleep which is unfortunate, I hope he starts to feel better soon, but the first week in the worst.

Anyways I'm done with the blog for now,

Chem Lab = Basically done and YETTI!

I got my chem midterm back today and I was quite happy with my 80% especially since the class average was like 53%. My other classes were rather dull and I skipped english to go to the physics tutorial which made me super nervous for my midterm on thursday, i will have to study my ass off and hope for the best. I have quite a bit of time tomorrow to study, but not as much time on wednsday.

I spent some more time on my chem paper today and I think it may be done, which is great to say and also when in the library I walked past some books that gave me an idea for my research essay for english and that idea is .......YOGA. My paper could be on the history and benefits of yoga and getting references should actually be quite easy, I've already searched some books that i will check out at some point this week and hopefully all will go well.

On a sader note today I found out that my mom had to give her puppy back because of Mike's allergies which sucks, I never even got to meet him :(

I didn't get my phone call today, but that's cause someone was sleepy :P

However i did speak to my mom and dad today, actually i spoke to my mom twice because she call me this morning at like 5:30am, she did this because she had turned her phone off to charge it last night and I sent her a text message last night, which she received this morning when she turned on her phone and whenever she receives a text message form me she calls me, so I got woken up kinda early.

Daniel also went in for surgery today and I hope it all went well and that he will be semi-healed by the time I see him in four weeks, he has to stay over night in the hospital and my mommy is picking him up tomorrow, and hopefully I will be updated on his progress.

Anyways I think that's basically it for now.

Kallie came over and suggested playing in the snow, so Erica, kallie Kurt and I went and played and we tried to start a war but no one was willing to fight us, we were too tough for them. And the attempts to start fights lead to crazy carpeting down hill which lead to be becoming a Yettie which lead to Kallie almost being drowned in the snow....

6+ Hours spent on a chem Lab..

Today I started working on homework at 10:30am in the library with kallie, we slowly collected other people, Like Scott and Devon and then we took a break for lunch and Kallie treated me to lunch again cause she is awesome and she has a shit load of money left on her meal card. As we were eating many more people enter the school to do homework, and we all gathered in the library after lunch to work on chem labs some more.

After hours of writing and searching for references and figuring out how to use the micro materials in the library, I finally returned to my room to type up the lab. And i worked on it for a few more hours and now it is mostly done, just some editing and revising.

Kallie and Erica and Katie and I all ended up sitting in our living roomesk area working on homework, and it was fun to have people to talk to while working and we listened to the relaxy CD Erica's Best Friend Tara made.

Then we decided to tale a study break and we went outside and had an epic snowball fight and we attacked peoples windows and we also ambushed some other people having a snowball fight, it was definatley and epic study break. Following that some homework took place and then at 9 Erica Kallie and I went to go play Ultimate Frisbee and it was sooo much fun, but I caught a throw thrown by the Ninja and now my had kinda hurts, but I will survive and we won so it's all good, and I defianatley got a work out in and had a blast doing it :)

Tomorrow should be another rather busy day.
Tomorrow is also exactly exactly 4 weeks until I'm home :D

It is not sunday,
but it felt like it was.

Today I accomplished a fair bit, but unfortunately my back and neck are in a fair bit of pain and it is very unpleasant.

I got a lot of my chem lab done and Kallie and I are working on them again tomorrow morning in the library, and I hope I can get it done tomorrow, i also still have physics homework and studying to do tomorrow as well, so it wont be a super fun day tomorrow, but it must be done.

Exactly one month from today I will be home and I am ever so excited :)
But I am still kinda home sick :(

Okay now I am feeling slightly better and I am able to write about last night/ yesterday in general.

I had my english presentation which actually went fine and then I had my chem midterm which also went okay, math and bio were snooze fests and my PLTL was canceled again.

And yesterday a bunch of erica's friends from kitimat came to PG, mainly because of a swim meet. And Aman and Kallie across the hall were having a party but Aman was being kinda crazy about it, and it started out as such a bust. Oh and Erica's best friend Tara was in Rez with here sister so Kallie and I went with Erica to go and surprise Tara and Erica and Tara were both so happy, it was sooo cute. anyways we were at Kallie's/Aman's place and it was sooo dull at first, no one would dance or anything, but it got better as it got later, but to no surprise it was shut down shortly after 11, and then we just went room hopping, but then I started to feel really really sick, and I had to go back to my room.

I don't know what was wrong, I felt nauseous and dizzy and I had pain in my stomach and back and neck.

Still feeling homesick.....

The homesickenss did not leave, but some of the procrastination did, I got my oral presentation all prepared, but I am nervous to do it tomorrow, and I've studied for chem and I feel rather confident.

It is hard to do work when all you want to do is go home,
I hope the homesickness goes away this weekend because I have lots more to do and the quicker I get it done the better, i need to stop putting things off, like I need o pick a topic for my research essay and I need to do physics homework and I need to finish my formal chem lab write up which is basically death, but i did get some of it done today and I will continue to get little bits of it done each day and I should be able to get it done by the end of the weekend hopefully and then I can focus on other things.

Today was Leslie's birthday and Kallie made her dinner and we were invited and we brought nanimo bars that erica and I had made yesterday for dessert and it was a lot of fun, I love birthdays, any excuse to get together with people is a good one :D.

It was also a nice break from work, and I'll take any excuse to get away from work,


I think I may just relax a little tonight and try and rest up for my presentation and midterm tomorrow, wish me luck!

I feel homesick :(

Today I didn't have class, but I also didn't get a lot done
all I can think of is how much I wanna be at home right now and it may have something to do with the fact that both Emily and Erica's parents are in town and Jill is in montreal and she went home before she left and I'm the only one who hasn't seen her family since september.

Though Erica and her mom did invite me shopping so i was able to buy heavy things and not worry about taking them on the bus which was very nice and I really appreciated it.

Glee was also back on tonight and it was awesome and now Danny is getting into Glee which is even more awesome, but what is not so awesome is my headache and all the work I have to do tomorrow, I'm actually kind of nervous, I don't know if I'll be able to get it all done in basically one day and also once again Kallie told me nothing about studying for chem, I hope that it's because the study group didnt happen and not because she forgot to tell me because I really do need to study and I find that studying with others is helpful.

I taught Erica how to knit today which is kinda cool, because now I can have a knit buddy and she picked it up super fast and already has done a decent amount of knitting and she seems to be enjoying it which is good.

Oh how I dread tomorrow and actually these next few weeks, I just wanna go home and see my family and friends and Danny and my pets and my home and my car and just all the things that i don't have here, I'm hoping that this homesickness will pass, I'm really really hoping it will pass because I still have 33 days here and I have a lot to get done before I get to go home, a lot to do.

It sucks waking up early for one class.

All I had to today was goto my physics class
Then I tried to nap but I was going crazy when napping and I heard things that didn;t actually happen, which was weird, and then I basically just killed time until I went to the gym for once, and I was proud of my workout, then I cam home and had a nice and long hot shower, then I killed more time until Erica, Emily and I decided to watch Sydney white, until we went to go watch Up at 8 o'clock.

I didnt really get much done today, but we spent a lot of time on youtube and our apple crisp had an egg, which can best be explained with a picture I took.

Now I think I'm gunna stay up and talk to Danny on his first break, I only have an hour to kill, and that shouldnt be too hard.

My plane ticket has been booked

YAY For having my ticket booked in december!!!!!!!

Today I was so annoyed because UNBC websites weren't working properly so I couldn't access notes for my classes and I had to go through chem and bio without notes, but it was okay I guess.

In math I got my midterm back which I got 90% on so I was happy :) I also got stuff done on my presentation for friday and my math assignment and I studied for Chem with Kallie and Kurt for a few hours.

The bestest thing that happened today was that my flight got book on December 14th, I will be leaving PG at 4:50 and arriving in Vancouver at 5:56, and I ammm soooooo stoked, especially since my mommy thinks I'm coming home on the 16th, so I can surprise her, oh and if you read this don't tell my mother because that would make you a jerk.

It kinda sucks because I have to wake up early just for one class tomorrow, but once it's done, I'm done until friday which is sweet but I have to get quite a bit done in that time, but I'm sure I can handle it all.

Anyways it's late and I must be up early.

Sunday - 5 Weeks and one Day till Home!

Today was sunday and I slept late which was nice and then I did some homework, then Kallie came over and we did Physics homework together, because two heads are better than one :) and we managed to finish the homework.

After she left I did chem homework and worked a little bit on my oral presentation for Friday. And then I watched 27 dresses and i knit and when the movie was done i watched tv. I watched Kidnapped for 18 years and it was rather disturbing and interesting.

Now for the best part of the day which consisted of when one of my roommates now to be known as Roommate X because she wishes to remain anonymous so here is the story:

Roommate X is cooking her dinner, which consisted of Salmon Rice and Peas and the salmon was being cooked in the oven and when she went to go check the salmon she lifted the tin foil and somehow the pan managed to flip the entire pan, which she caught and flipped back over but one of the salmon fillets fell on to the element in the bottom of the stove and she freaked and rushed to grab her spatula to try and get the salmon but it ended up just being pushed around the bottom of the oven and eventually it disappeared into the crack between the oven and the oven door and she freaked out and was all like:
" Chanel where is it where did it go, where did it go!"
My response:
"I think it fell into the drawer"
So she closes the oven and opens the draw below the oven and there's her salmon sitting on some of the pans and she's still flipping out just a little, bit, she manages to get the salmon out and cleans out the drawer and is very upset with the fact that she had lost an entire meal basically and oh the smoke alarm went off in the process not once but twice..and it is sooooooo loud

Luckily we were laughing about it later but it will be kept between her and I and well anyone who reads this :)

sore back, but a pretty good night

This morning was actually an afternoon and I went grocery shopping with Kallie, Katie and Erica, and it was nice to get out and I tried to get some homework done but I had little motivation to do so

I went to a party tonight on 1st and Taber, and we had to walk for 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back in the cold, but when I was there is was quite a bit of fun, lots of dancing and the basement of the house had the walls covered in grafitti and there were black lights and strobe lights and a DJ, and it was fun though I discover that a lot of guys will creepily dance behind you, which is weird and like this one guy was creeping on every one and another guy was really tall and had bad BO and some interesting dance moves and he was like followiing us around, we left at 1:15 to walk all the way to 15th ave to catch the bus up the hill and we got there like 7 minutes early and stood in the cold.

Oh also I met this guy named Keith and he's from port moody and he took a first aid course with two people from my moms work and he like kinda knew who I was because they mention that one of their co-workers(aka my mom) had a daughter going to UNBC and he actually remembered that, it was kinda creepy but more so cool, that it's such a small world.

anyways I'm gunna go watch a movie with Kallie and Erica and perhaps emily for a bit.

Oh no phone call tonight :(, but I did end up getting one last night after I posted my blog.

The internet now works!..... slowly

Today I had two midterms, both which went ok, there was one or two math questions that I wasn't quite sure on and a few bio questions as well, but I'm sure I did fine.

I also did a shit load of knitting today,
I knit a scarf that stretched from one end of the living room to the other, from the window to the door, my hand/fingers/arms are sore from doing so, but I feel as though I accomplished something.

I was told a joke today that made me laugh... prepare yourselves...

I'm a little sad today, even though my mommy did call me today, it is once again another night without a phone call and I miss it, but it's ok, I know he's having fun.

Late post from yesterday

Bored in physics this morning, basically falling asleep in class as per usual.

Then I had a rather dull and boring bio lab which was basically all textbook work

Then I came home and knit for like 3 hours.... i think i have a problem, but I finished one scarf and I started two more, I also studied for bio and had dinner and went to a seminar about writing formal chem labs since I have one due in two weeks.

Now for the sad news, my day lacked a phone call, but it's ok I understand why I didn't get one and I will survive :) and hopefully I'll get one tomorrow.
Amazingly this is only like the maybe 5th day that I haven't received a call, and I must say that it's quite impressive.

I look forward to nest week because i get two days off in the middle of the week, which is sweet and i'll hopefully be able to get lots done and also rest up, because I'm still not feeling 100%

Anyways my internet isnt working at this moment and that means I must wait a bit until this posts, so i'm done writing and now I sit and wait, maybe I'll knit, even though my arms and back and hands and neck are so sore from all the knitting I did today, I could really use a massage... oh well

Once Again no Glee on Wednsday...... at least not on TV

This no Glee thing is upsetting, but it will be on next week, and I am stoked :D

Even though glee isn't on, today was a good day, I'm feeling slightly better, which is nice.
I also found out that I can move my two late exams which means I'll be home sooner and I am soooo stoked, I'll know exactly when I can come home on Monday and then I have to start sorting stuff out, like insuring my car and getting it fixed up and all that "fun" and expensive stuff, I will have to start saving even more than normal so I can pay to get in done, but I'll manage. In a way I look forward to working and making moneys, I like having moneys. Maybe I'll look for some work in the second semester, so I can have some extra cash, but I dunno.

I also really need to start looking in scholarships and financial aid and all that fun stuff, because school is friggan expensive.

My classes all went well today and my chem lab was easy because it was done in the library :) and I know lots about the library.

I still have lots of homework to do, but the weekend in getting closer which means I'll have time to work on it as well as time to rest up so I will feel even better next week.

Oh random fact, I was a plumber today, lol, Oh the joys of knowing random stuff.

I am also Happy to say that night shifts have no interfered with my nightly phone calls :D

I think I may have a snack...or not I did have a big dinner, hmmm. A snack will probably happen..... anyways....

My 60th Post

So apparently the amazing race esk thing I was signed up for wasn't the amazing race it was the apprentice and guess who's team got fired first.................



Yupp mine, Kallie, Emily and I were gone after the first round, even though we worked to hard and have injuries from it, apparently we didnt have the heart and that's why we lost, I call bull shit, I think it may be rigged but honestly I'm kinda gad because now the remaining teams are being forced to sell tickets and they have till noon tomorrow and who ever makes the least amount of money looses and I think that is just a ploy to get the tickets sold, and I think in the end the JDC team will win, because they're business students and the judges and MC are not only business students but also JDC members......Oh well

The event that we had to do btw was a relay race where we had to try and fill our bucket the most in the allotted time, and you and to do so with a with CSS on the bottom which you had to find in a giant pyramid of cups, I found mine first, but it took Kallie awhile to find her's, my cup also got cracked by one of the other people on another team as we were getting water out of the grossest water bucket ever, that water was nasty and I feel bad for Kallie because she slipped and got it all over herself and then she was right back up to get more water (and they say we didn't have the heart) and we apparently lost according to they're measuring technique which consisted of staring at the buckets......(not very high tech or accurate).

Now I will admit that I was a sore loser, I was angry, I felt that the judging was unfair, it the water had been accurately measured and that had proven that we had lost I would of been fine with it and now I'm at least kinda fine with it, at least I'm not stuck selling tickets, that would of sucked...

The other downside to this event was that it made my throat worse, It really hurts and I hate having a sore throat, it's no fun, but I bought buckleys today and I will take some before I goto bed and hopefully that will help me sleep better than I have been, I'll need my rest for my super long wednsday.

I have not been feeling well Today, my head and neck ache and now my throat is sore and I feel kinda dizzy :(, It's no fun.

But life goes on, I went to all my classes today and tried my best to remain focused throughout them, though I don't know if I achieved that, but at least I was there.

I have two midterms on friday and I think I may actually need to study for my bio midterm.

Tomorrow I am participating is some business amazing race esk thing, and I don't quite know what to expect but it should be fun, Emily and Kallie and I are doing it, and we will hopefully kick some butt :D and I will hopefully feel better and be able to preform well.

I'm kinda sad that Danny is working nights for the next two weeks, which may interfere with our nightly phone calls, but hopefully not.

Anyways I think I may take a shower and goto bed or just goto bed, and hope to feel better in the morning.

November, I'm getting closer

Oh how I love sleep, and oh how I love extra sleep because of day light savings time
I also love craft fairs, like the one I went to today and yesterday,and I bought fudge and a few other items that I plan on giving to people for christmas and I discovered that most things sold at craft fairs I could make myself and then I could sell them :)
But making mass amounts fo crafts to be sold would be time consuming and I don't have that much time, so I will save my dream of having a booth at a craft fair for a time when I have more time.

I didn't get as much done today as I would of like, I did get bits and pieces of my homework done but I didn't make a substantial dent in it. I will continue to do homework this week and hopefully I will keep up and manage to get everything done.

I am managing to get quite a bit of knitting done, because I figure that if I don't wanna do homework I should at least do something constructive and I end up knitting, My scarf is coming along nicely :)

My room is such a mess, I will have to find time to clean it and I also need to get my laundry done and I need to start going to the gym again, I am feeling kind of like a blob and I think some exercise might do me some good, so tomorrow I plan on going to the gym even if it's only for a little while, I also have much mroe homework to get done tomorrow and hopefully some laundry and cleaning as well.

Anyways I think I'll go knit for a bit, before going to bed.

All Hallows Eve

Today was quite the day, Though forgive me for my day will be summed up in short because I am not feeling well at all and all I feel like doing in lying down.

This Morning was Rez Challenge and the Blue Warheads lost the title of undefeated but we still remain number one in the scoring, our skit came in second which is amazing consider how many of our team members were hung over and we hadn't really gone over anything. But that was good, but I was kinda tired afterwards, but rather than taking a nap Erica and I went to the craft fair in the school which had many over prices knick knacks and some amazing fudge :)

I tried to get some homework done but I lacked the motivation and I was still quite tired, but rather than napping I talked to people and had pizza and got ready to go out.

We all went down to the house party at like 10 and we get there and it was sooo packed there were so many people that you could barely move and it didnt help that there were so many large drunk guys stumbling and jumping on the dance floor, but it was still kinda fun, but it was rather annoying because they played the same songs over and over and I got so many drinks spilt on me and something about the night just felt off, eventually we decide to leave and we get on this bus that was a special bus going to the University and it was actually a great bus ride home.

The driver was a really nice guy and there were these women on the bus who worked in transit and they were quite hilarious, and they had free candy on the bus and Erica and I hugged the bus driver to thank him for being so awesome and apparently he hadn't had such a great day and I hope we made it a little better. And the bus ride was basically and extension of the party with people mingling and talking and laughing and just to top it all off, the bus driver took us straight up to the residence buildings, I thanked them wholeheartedly and I do hope that they have a good night.

unfortunatly it was on the bus that I started to feel really sick and I still feel not well right now, which it why this blog lacks detail, because all I wanna do is lie down.

One thing that made me feel better was that I hoped something would happen and then it did

Tomorrow is Halloween..

Today I was supposed to do so much and I did so little
I haven't been feeling too well and I woke up with a headache, which is never a good sign.
My classes went by slowly.. very slowly, but they weren't bad and some people wore costumes to lectures, which was entertaining to see :)

After my lectures and my PLTL (which is like a bio study group type thing) I say around and ate and basically did nothing, I did a little homework, but no where near what I needed to get done :( I'll make up for in on sunday I guess.

After much TV and movies and procrastinating, Erica, Emily and I decided to try on our Halloween costumes for a trial run and I ended up going from a bat to a lion, because of how big I can make my hair :P, Apparently I make a pretty cute lion, which is good I guess, but I'm still going to be a bat for the Res. Challenger skit that we have tomorrow, which we better win, we cannot have our title taken from us, anyways That's all for now folks

NUTELLA

It snowed today, I woke up to a campus covered in a white blanket of cold and we snow and it was so windy that the snow was going sideways....

Physics was sleep inducing as was my bio lab

I went grocery shopping and bought nutella!!!!! and other things but the nutella was the most important thing...

I looked forward to it all day through4 lectures and a lab and it wasn't on and I don't know why.

I did do pumpkin painting today and I won a Dvd, which was kinda cool and now we have cute painted pumpkins, oh and I got my chem midterm back and I got 92%, which I was stoked about.

Unfortunately I now have 2 formal lab write ups to do,one for chem and one for bio and they are rather time consuming, I also have to start work on my oral presentation, which I finally have a topic for.

Anyways I'm gunna go be sad about Glee not being on tonight :(

Sooo Much Food!

Today I had one class, Physics and I was trying not to fall asleep and I managed to stay somewhat awake for the entire class.

Then I returned to my room and attempted to nap fro awhile and that didn't go so well, but it was nice to relax, I also did alot of knitting and I kept continuing to check my mail box, because the package Danny sent me was supposed to arrive today and it did and it was awesome and I'm not the only one who thought so, Emily and Erica agreed that it was awesome :)

Tonight was also the night we were having dinner at our place with what was supposed to be like 8 people and it turned into 5, Kallie, Katie, Erica, Leslie and I and it was delicious. Lots of pasta and salad and garlic toast and then for dessert we had friendship cake(made by Emily's mom) and donuts and then Jill brought cake back from the gym, which I know doesn't make a lot of sense but was still delicious.

We all hung out for while sitting around our giant table made of two tables, and Leslie had to leave at 7 so then there were the 4 of us talking about Halloween and other topics of interest and it was a lot of fun.

After Kallie and Katie left Erica washed and I dried and put away the dishes and there were alot of dishes but they didn't take too long todo, and now I sit alone in my room, having just completed a phone call with my father and I'm kinda still waiting patiently for my nightly call..

This Is why I'm called ducky...

so Today was a busy random and in many ways a rather hilarious day.
It started out with Erica and Katie and I Going to the mall to gt stuff for halloween and we had to wait a while for a bus so we went into starbucks and got some delicious drinks and went to the bus stop, only to be told that we couldn't take our drinks on the bus even though two days earlier Erica had brought a drink on to the bus, we had to throw them out which sucked because we were no where near done with them...

and so the adventure continues.....

We finally arrive at the mall and almost get lost in sears trying to figure out how to get into the mall, at last we make it in and we goto a few places and we see things we wish we could afford and then we goto maraposa to find cheap stuff for our halloween costumes, I got a black dress and black flats for like 16 bucks and Erica got two cute dresses for 20 and Katie bought a really sweet and bright shirt for like 8, we're all about the good deals, we also picked up some cheetah tights for Kallie, and we went to the dollar store and found golden leaves for Katie to wear aroung her head for her goddess costume, then we kill some time before the bus comes to take us to value village....

and so the adventure continues....

We get to value village and it's busy and kinda picked over, But I pick up some yarn a knitting needles, because I'm so cool that I decided that i wanna knit. Also Erica and Emily wanna learn how so i can teach them:) Erica found a cheap black t-shirt to use to make strips on her yellow dress for her bumble bee costume, and then we had to kill time in value village waiting for a bus, but we got bored with that and wandered across the street to 2nd cup and Erica and I had Carrot Cake which was alright and Katie had a peanut butter bar thingy, which apparently was also good. Then we finally caught the bus back up to the Uni, and then we had been invited to watch Erica's friend Jessie do a pole dancing performance and we had to look up the address and find out when we had to leave.......

and so the adventure continues.....

When walking down the hall we stop by at Aman, Kallie and Leslies place to not only invite them to the pole dancing thing, but to so invited them over to dinner on tuesday for what I am calling Italian night, they agree to both, except Aman who couldn't go to the pole dancing, which is sad, oh we also invited Katie over to dinner on tuesday and she's bringing dessert so I'm stoked. Anyways we located where the pole dancing thing was taking place and I figured out how to get there by bus and we had to leave at 6:08 which was less than and hour, so I ran across the hall to let the girls know and then we ate a quick dinner and were off to the bus stop......

and so the adventure continues...

We took the 15 down to the bottom of the hill and went to the stop where I thought the 5 would come and we sat there and waited for like half an hour just talking and laughing about randomness. Then after a long while of waiting in the cold we see the bus at the intersection, it's stopped at a red light so we stand all ready to get on the bus, but It's blinker is on, and it's turning down 15th ave, and we;re all like, what it;s not supposed to do that, is it doing that and rather than running towards the bus we all kind of stood there in disbelief as we watched the bus we had waited for turn down the street and disappear...... and rather than waiting for another bus which would of been an hour later and we would of missed the show, we called a cab, and we waited for the cab for over 10 minutes and finally we were in the cab and on our way to art space (the location of the pole performance)........

and so the adventure continues......

a $15 cab ride later, we arrive to a very sketchy looking area in PG, kinda reminded me of some areas in Downtown Vancouver, where you just wouldn't wanna be at night. Anyways we wander up the stair to the place and we're late, it's after 7, but there is like no one there and we kinda awkwardly walk in and this girl greets us and Erica asks if there's admission and the woman responds with saying that it's $15 to get in and we were umm shocked, we told her that we didn;t have that much cash and she told us that there was a bank about a block down the street, so we left and decided that we didn't have that much money to spend on something like that so Erica went back and left a message for her friend Jessie saying that we all had no money and therefore we couldn't see it, So all of that we have done nothing, and now we go on a quest to find the bus stop we need to wait at.......

and so the adventure continues.....

we find the stop, luckily it was just down the street on the opposite side and we figure out that we have like 20minutes to kill so Kallie pulls out the camera and the photos begin and we got some"good ones" then Kallie notices this big statueesk thing that said "The Gathering Place" and we decided to climb it and take pictures, we rotated who was taking pictures and it was alot of fun minus the cold and the sketchy area of town we were in, and then after some more failed serious pictures later the bus shows up and we were on our way back, slowly but surely.......

and so the adventure continues.....

So we're sitting on the bus discussing how ridiculous this night was going and then we stopped at a stop for like 10 minutes, just sitting there, us 5 girls and this other guy and we waited and deicided to take bus pictures, because who doesn't love bus pictures, we were on the bus for quite sometime and then we go off, a little too early and as we were walking to the bottom of the hill the bus we need to catch to go up to the university is right behind us so we start booking ut across the road......

and so the adventure continues.....

We're running and I thought I had my keys/ bus pass in my pocket, and as we're running I hear something drop and I reach into my pocket and into my purse and they're not there, I shout to Kallie, Katie, Erica and Leslie that I think I dropped my keys and I'm looking and panicing as the bus is waiting and I don;t see them, I'm looking on the ground and in my bag and suddenly the light bulb goes off, when I was on the other bus I placed my keys in the front pocket of my purse I open it up and there they are and I run up to the bus, and thank the driver for waiting and then I sit down and they ask me where my keys were and I told them that I hadn't dropped them, I had just forgot where I had put them, and we all burst out laughing as I try and explain how I heard something drop and then I couldn't find my keys so I just assumes and we could not stop laughing, the entire way up the hill we were laughing at our night and all the things that had gone wrong and I decided to wear my keys around my neck as a metal of shame.... and they hung there in shame as we got of the bus and I thanked the driver wholeheartedly and we made the trek up to the dorms from the bus stop.....

and so the adventure continues....

We get up to the dorms and decide to goto Kallie and Leslies room and we sit there and chill, and we talked about our grads and random stuff like that and then we wanted to try and get people together to play taboo, but everyone was going out to various parties so the 5 of us played and like only Kallie knew how to play, but we picked it up pretty fast and it was fun and Kallie, Katie and I kicked but :D Then it was getting late and were getting Tired and Emily showed up to show us her grandmothers hat which was cool, but then Emily and Erica and I went back to our room because we were all tired......

and yes, the adventure continued.....

we get back to our room and Erica and I decide to order pizza, which was awesome, and while we were waiting I was knitting and Erica was sewing her Halloween costume and we took a pizza break and we were listening to hard core dance music, I restrained myself from finishing my half of the pizza and I went back to knitting and Erica went back to her costume which was looking really cute, but was also time consuming, I'm so glad that mind is just all black and simple and easy :) But her's is going to be adorable, we worked on our craftyness making jokes about how i should knit in all my lectures and stuff like that and then the three of us admired Erica's cuteness in her unfinished costume and I was trying on my flats, that aren;t not quite the right size....

And that's why they Call me Ducky.....

And so we all went off to bed.......

There was a knock at our door at 1 am, a very persistent knock, I go answer and it is Keith, one of the RA's and he asks for Emily so I went and got here and then we found out that he wanted her to goto the Rum Jungle, but she says that he was probably asking on behalf of this other guy named steve, but either way it was late, shes under age and we had gone to bed, so that was a no go

and so the adventure ended
or so I thought until there were more knocks at the door, this time at 1:30am and two guys are standing there named Kyle and Grant and they were asking for sugar, so emily gave them sugar and they still didn't go away, they stood there talking and asking to come in and asking to hang out and they were being loud and knocked on the door across the hall and probably wok like our entire floor up, the rambled on drunkenly for awhile until Finally I told them that they should go before security came because we would get in trouble, and we closed and locked the door, and they continued down the hall making noise and knocking on doors until finally they were let into a room, the room they ended up in was Jill's friends room....

and now the adventure has ended...

Almost 50 days done

As of Tomorrow there are 56 more days until the final exam period is over and I would of been here for 50 days, That means on tuesday, the semester is half over, and I'm surviving and in fact you could even say that I'm doing quite well, I'm keeping up relatively well in the class and I don't miss home all the time, but I have my moments, when all I wanna do is go home.

There are so many things that I wanna do when I'm back home that I don't know how I'm going to get it all done, I may have to give up sleeping in order to have enough time, but i think it would be worth the sacrifice.

As for school, today my classes went fine, but I was really tired today and I still can't think of a topic for my oral presentation which is in three weeks, I need a topic that I'm interested in but I can't seem to come up with one, sometimes I wish we were just assigned the topics and then I wouldn't spend so much time thinking about what I wanna talk about for 7 minutes and then answer questions about for 3. But I'll have to come up with something eventually....

I have a rather busy weekend planned, full of homework and reading and going to the mall and value village and possible going to a pole dancing performance and maybe a hike to shane lake, which is the lake located in the forests of the world, located behind the residence buildings, and at some point in there I should really try and squeeze in doing some laundry, because I don't wanna end up doing laundry for 4 hours again, that was ridiculous, worse comes to worse I can do it on tuesday

Oh and that reminds me on tuesday Erica and I have decided to invite some people over for dinner :) We're inviting: Kallie, Aman, Katie and Leslie and maybe other people, but I dunno for sure, and I'm making pasta and we're gunna make Caesar salad and garlic bread, it should be deliciously awesomely good.

I also really excited because Danny told me that he mailed me a package today and it should be here on tuesday, which will just be another thing making tuesday better :)

Anyways I'm rather tired and I might try and get to bed, or i might end up drawing, because I have the sudden urge to doodle :P

Timing Spinach leaves is not my idea of fun.

In physics we had a sub named Dr. Jensen and he was good, he always made sure that we were understanding examples, and was always asking if we had any questions.
I picked up my package from my mom after physics today, and I love getting packages, because you never quite no what to expect. My mommy sent me Olympic mittens and fruit snack and stamps and money and a calling card and granola bars and mac and cheese and a letter :)


Then I had my Bio lab and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring. We had to hole punch spinach leaves to get 10 disks and then we prepared them and stuck them into a solution and we had to time hoe long it took 5 disks to reach the top and we had to do it with 5 different solutions and one of them took 23 minutes, I spent like an hour staring at spinach leaves in a beaker, hoping that they would float to the top. Mike(the other guy who was watching leaves for his group) and I started talking to the leaves trying to encourage them to float, he called himself the leaf whisperer, lol. Even though the lab was boring, it consisted of a few good laughs and we did get out early.

Then I came back to the dorm and to my surprise Erica was cooking, lol. She was pre-cooking stuff for her dinner, I think I may be rubbing off on her a bit :)
Erica and I also went grocery shopping after her Physc class and I bought cheese and milk and tea and a few other things, I also bought part of my Halloween costume, we were in the dollar store and Erica was looking for bumble bee wings for her costume and she found them but there we also these really nice black wings, which we discovered to be bat wings, so now I am being a bat for Halloween, I now must just acquire a black outfit and my costume will be a done deal.

After shopping Erica and I came back and we both made pasta for dinner and mine was delicious, unfortunately Erica had a sudden migraine and she went to bed then.

Emily's little sister and her dad showed up and they were all going out to dinner, I was invited but I had already eaten so I politefully declined and did some dishes, and omg I Got a homemade muffin, It was banana and it had nuts in it and it was amazing.

Then I had some tea and watched over the hedge by myself and I took a nice hot bath, but now I'm not feeling to great, actually today in general, this week in general I haven't been feeling to great, which sucks, but I guess that's my day.

84% on my physic midterm :D

So today I got my physic midterm back and i was so nervous because I was told that the class average was 58%, but apparently two of the questions on the midterm no one got right so he manipulated the marks and the average ended up being 67%ish, which is quite better, I was so very surprised when I found out that I got 84, like I barely pass the homework yet i get and A- on the midterm, something isn't quite right about that.

I also went shopping today and I forgot to bring gloves so my hands were soooo cold and I walked all the way to Wal-mart to get Nutella and they were sold out again so I bought Wal-mart version of nutella which sucks, it is not nutella, but it will tie me over until i get real nutella.

Ihad my physics lab tonight which was super easy and Sydney and I finished an hour and a half early and I came "home" and worked on my bio lab and I am now not surprisingly on the phone :D

Yay for my last first midterm.

Today I wrote my chem midterm which was the last midterm I had in the first set of midterms, and it was kinda funny, because the exam that Kallie and Aman and I did for practice was almost the exact same :) so I think I did quite well. I got my math midterm back today and I got 82% which is better than I thought I would do. I hope to get my physics midterm back tomorrow, but at the same time I am quite nervous to see what I got...

I am currently on the phone, but not talking to anyone, because someone didn't want to say bye and didnt want to hang up on me, so now I wait, like a dork on the phone,....

anyways thats basically all for today, not much happened.

Sunday, Sunday. Sunday

Today was another sleep in day, though it shouldn't of been, I had soo much to do today and I didn't get much of it done.

I did study a bit for my chem midterm, Kallie and Aman got a hold of a past exam and we went over it together, which made me feel a lot better, and then I did my Chem lab and I started my bio lab. I did my math asssignment which wasn't too difficult.

I also made an awesome dinner and had a few phone calls which was nice.

Today I also found out when my finals are and I am not happy about it. I have 3 exams the first week and then the other two are on the last two days of the exam week, which means that unless I can take those exams early, I only get two weeks off, which sucks. :(

I emailed my profs and one of them told me to go talk to her, the other hasn't responded yet , even if I could take them at the beginning of that week it would be so much better, i want to get home before the 18th, but It looks like I'm going to be stuck here :( I may have to work some serious skills trying to convince my profs to let me take the exam early.

After my Chem midterm tomorrow I am midterm free for a few weeks and then every week in November I have a midterm and then I get a week with no exams and then It's finals, so my next month or two here will be lots of fun......or not

H1N1? Nah...

So this morning, well afternoon, I got out of bed and made brunch and then after that I started to feel really sick, i felt nauseous and dizzy and I was having hot and cold flashes and I was very achey. So I went back to bed to try and rest and I drank water in hopes that it would make me feel better, and I kept thinking to myself that I didnt understand why I was feeling so sick, alcohol poisoning isn't contagious,so there is no reason for me to be feeling so horrible.

Then I decided to look up the symptom of H1N1 and I do have a few of them :S, but I dont think thats whats wrong. anyways I basically lied in bed for hours, being either too hot or too cold. I finally get out of bed, and I was feeling slightly better, so I made soup and Erica and Emily went to a man auction and they bought someone lol, they get his services for 6 hours, they bought him with Kallie and Aman, and I really wish that I had gone, it seemed like a lot of fun,

Then we were going to invite people over to watch a movie, but we ended up going down to the Van Dyke room, aka N307 Neyoh for a party, and we know how well I go with party's but it was just kinda boring, we had one guy talking about morgages for like ever and then finally we left claiming that we had to go refil our drinks and we ended up goin back to our room to dance and by we I mean, Emily, Erica, Kallie and Katie. Things in our room got pretty hot so we wanted to go for a walk to cool down and we ended up in the school taking pictures and we met up with Brad and Jasmine and Marlin and we walked out to the lookout point and it was really nice but very cold and after some more pictures and stuff we lost Brad and Jasmine, and the rest of us went back to our room to chill and talk and listen to some music, people left after midnight and Erica, Emily and I started watching raise your voice, but then Nathan came to get Emily so Erica and I watched a bit more and then we decided that we should go to bed, we both have a lot to do tomorrow.

It was just one of those times...

I'm just going to skip to the exciting part of the day and that was this evening.

It all starts out and Erica and I have been invited to a party in Keyoh but Kallie, so we meet up and we all wander over there and up to the 4th floor where we walk into the room of this so called dance party, to see a bunch of guys not dancing, so we walk in and stand awkwardly for a bit and then people start drinking and dancing(well i should say the girls start dancing) and there were still so few people there. Then it started to get so hot in the room so we decided to leave for a bit and get some fresh air, as we are walking down the hallway, already drunk people are stumbling towards the party and they stopped and were telling us to go back with them and one of them was telling me that I looked really good and it was kinda creepy.

We ended up hanging out in the 4th floor lobby of Keyoh and then Erica decides that she wants some more booze so we all decide to go back to our room so she can get some. Then we went back to the party in Keyoh and there were a lot more people it felt like a mosh pit and it got sooo hot, all of a sudden Erica starts heading towards the door with some other girls so I followed and found out that they once again needed to cool down so we walked down the hall toward the lobby and that is where my night really starts....

Laying on one of the window seats is a girl vomiting her brains out and the guys she is with is kinda freaking out and not knowing what to do. So I dropped my purse and told him that we needed to get her on her side, so we turned her and with a little effort we got her in an okay position, then the guys left saying that he was going to go get help.

So there I am, rubbing this girls back, and she's braced against my leg so she can't roll and I'm holding her shoulder to prevent her from moving too much and I'm talking to her, trying to keep her conscious.

Erica and the other girls were sitting in the other window seat about 8ft away because they couldn't be around the puke, and people kept walking by, staring and talking about how gross it was, meanwhile I'm standing there hoping that someone comes around who actually knows who this girl is because i sure don't, all I know about her is that she talked to me in the hallway earlier and that she had too much to drink.

Finally another drunk girl comes running up saying how that's her friend, so I asked her what her name was and I found out it was Toni, a guy also came up and offered to go get a towel to help clean her up, and he went off.

meanwhile her drunken friend wasn't much help, she just wandered off and sat with Erica and them. Two girls come up to me rather concerned about Toni and they ask me where her room is and I tell them that I don't know because I don't know her, they were a tad surprised by that. Then the guy shows up with a washcloth, but he says he doesn't want to wipe her off because he doesn't wanna take advantage of her so one of the girls that I was talking to offered to do it, which was very nice of her.

Then we started talking about how we were going to get her to a room and all i kept saying was that I couldn't carry her, the guy who had brought the wash cloth, suggested that we should put her in a shopping cart which I said would be a bad idea. All I kept think was that i couldn't carry Toni by myself and that no one was willing to help me. Then Cameron shows up and without saying anything helps me pick her up and we try and figure out where she's going, and not only is she not able to support herself but one of her friends kelsey isn't able to support herself either, so she was being carried by some other guy and we wall got into the elevator, because we had to get them to 2nd floor Neyoh, we get down to the first floor of Keyoh and the Security people are just about to go up the stairs and they tell us that we can't be in the elevator because it's out of order, but then stupidly one of the drunk guys in the elevator closes the doors and pushes the 2nd floor button insisting that this is 2nd floor neyoh and we tell him that it's not and now we had to get Toni out of the elevator and carry her down 2 flights of stairs, which was far less than fun. Then we had to carry her down the hill and across the parking lot into Neyoh, thank god there is an entrance that leads directly into the 2nd floor. While we were walking there we were talking to security and Cameron and I were saying that we didn't know much about the situation because neither one of us really knows what happened before, they were also telling us that she may have alcohol poisoning and that she will have to be watched all night to make sure she doesn't choke on her own vomit and fun stuff like that.

We finally get her to N205 of Neyoh and we go to put her in the bathroom in case she get's sick again, but we set her down and immediately she falls over and she hit her head on the wall, which was bad and then Cameron suggests that we get her in a semi-prone position, and that we get her in bed room, luckily the first room in this dorm was empty so we got her onto the bed and into a good position and then Cameron left, and I tied Toni's hair back so it would stay out of her face and I sat down next to her, rubbing her back and telling her that she would be fine.

Security decided to call an ambulance, since she could of had alcohol poisoning, her friend Kelsey though was sobering up a little bit and as the First Aid attendant, Andrew, was taking her vitals and giving her Oxygen Kelsey comes in and is freaking out and is crying and upset and she thinks that her friend is dying so I tried to console her and explain that Toni was going to be fine, Toni was responding well and was answering questions that weren't even directed to her with nods and other movements. They find her wallet and get her info and of course by now there are RA's and her drunken friends and her one sober friend whom was the roommate of her drunk friends. This is also when we found out that she is not a student at UNBC, she was a guest, she goes to CNC in Prince George, which is bad for her friends, because they will probably be in some serious trouble when this is all sorted out.

I sat next to Toni until the firemen showed up, then I felt like I should get out of the way, I told her that the people were going to help her and then i stayed back and watched and I tried to provide as much information as I could, meanwhile her drunken friends are arguing about who gets to go in the ambulance with her, in the end it was the more sober of the two that ended up going with her.

The ambulance and paramedics showed up and they got her onto the stretcher and I offered to go to the hospital if they wanted a sober person to be with her, but her roommates and the RA's told me that I had done enough and that I could go, but I waited until they wheeled her away before I left.

I feel so bad for the one sober roommate who will have to pick Toni up from the Hospital at like 4 or 5 am and she has an exam in the morning, I wish I could of been the one to go get her but i don't have my car here so I couldn't. I hope she's ok.

after leaving the room I went up a floor to my room, but the door was locked and Erica had my keys/purse, I texted her but she didn't respond so I called her and found out she was in 110 so I went down 2 floors to retrieve my purse and to tell them what had happened and then I left because I really wanted to shower and as I was leaving one of the guys who live in the room was getting in trouble for having a party after quiet hours and when I opened the door, they looked at me and I just said that I had to get my purse from my roommate and they smiled and said okay, and then I returned to my room, where I told the story to Jill and I took a shower and I told the story to Emily and to Danny over the phone and now I sit here writing and wondering.

i don't understand how her friends could abandon her, I don't understand why almost no one was willing to help me help her, Okay yes they don't know her, but I didn't know her either. If you were in her situation wouldn't you want someone to help you? That's what I kept telling myself and even though tomorrow she will have no memory of what happened and she will have no Idea who I am or how I helped her, it doesn't really matter, because it was just one of those times where you see something and you have to do something about it. I really hope that someone would do the same for me, but judging by the way people reacted, I really don't know if they would have.

I think it's in those moments when no one really wants to deal with a situation where you can really decide what kind of people are out there, so many people just looked at her with disgust and some just averted their eyes, I understand it's not a pretty site, but you gotta do what you gotta do, and I am so thankful that Cameron helped her too, without him I may have still been standing there with her, I will have to remember to thank him the next time I see him, I did thank him tonight as well and we carried Toni from Keyoh to Neyoh, But in situations like that I don't think you can give someone too much thanks.

Tonight... well... it was just.....one of those times.....

Who Knew that had Chanel in Value Village....

Today I had my physics midterm and i didn't die or hyperventilate or pass out and I think I passed, which is good, but I'm still nervous about the results....

I had a bio lab which was fine but now I have a Bio write up to do, which is going to be time consuming, and that sucks, but I don't think that it's going to be too hard, just time consuming.

After my classes, Erica and I decided to stroll(actually bus) down to value Village to look for Halloween costumes, there weren't too many cool costumes, but then we went and we were looking at scarves and all of a sudden Erica Grabs something and says "Chanel" and I turn around to see that she had grabbed a scarf that was Chanel, lol what are the chances of there being a Chanel Scarf at value village and it was ugly :( and we continued looked at scarves and then Erica starts laughing and is holding a pink scarf and once again "Chanel" and it was another Chanel scarf, seriously why does value village have Chanel scarves? This one was less ugly but it was pink so that was a no. Then as we were about to leave the scarf area..... "Chanel" followed by laughter as Erica has found another Chanel scarf, only this one is a brownish colour and I decided that I had to by it, as a souvenir. Then we wandered around a bit more and I made a deal with Erica that if she found one more Chanel thing that I would buy them all... and the desperate search began, but we soon discovered that there were no more Chanel Items in Value village and we decided to leave and go to the Dollar store.

As usually I get a bunch of random stuff from the dollar store, like muffin pans and muffin mix and halloween decorations and some wall sticker things for my room, which are butterflies and look as though they belong in a six year old girls room, :D I haven't put them up but I will do so later tonight, probably after I finish this actually.

There isn't much else for me to say, I don't have much else planned for the night.

Long day, but not too long

I had my 4 hours of lectures and my 3 hour lab was finished in an hour and a half, which was nice.
I then went to the gym for a little bit and I ate dinner.
I finished my short essay and I have been trying to not stress out about my physics midterm tomorrow, and watching Glee is helping me de-stress, though I am nervous
I'm hoping to get 12 out of 18, that is my goal, and I think that I can achieve it :)
I spoke to my mom today and she is getting a puppy, It's a male golden lab that is going to most likely be names Seamus and she should have it in November and I am super excited to see it when I'm home in December. There are so many things that I'm excited for in December
I really do miss home,
But I think that if I went to school back home I would have far more distractions and I mighte procrastinate even more than I do up here.

Oh I should have my Bio midterm results on Friday, I hope it went well...
anyways Glee is on and I can only type during commercials.

Only one class :-O

Today I only had one class, Physics. And it wasn't so bad, it was a tutorial class to prepare us for the midterm. I also went to a chem tutorial to get help with my lab that is due tomorrow and I think I figured it out and I will hopefully do well on it. I didnt do much else today, I studied for physics a bit and I cooked and stuff like that, tomorrow will be a busy day so I'm resting up for it.

It wasn't too, too cold today, It got all the way up to 2, lol
Oh I also found out that my mom is getting a puppy, its so cute, it's a Golden Lab and that's about all I know about it at the moment.

I came up with a title for my essay today, with some help from my dad, who I had a lovely conversation with.

On a sadder note, my skin is starting to break out, which is quite upsetting.

Anyways that is basically all I did today..

And so.. the long weekend is over.

Today I didnt want to get out of bed, I was warm and comfy, but unfortunately I had too, because Aman was coming over so we could do our chem labs, but that turned into an epic fail, because neither one of us really knew how to do the lab, so tomorrow we are going to go to the Chem SI to see if we cant get help, I also tried doing my chem homework that wasn't a lab, and that didn't go too well, but i think if I go over my notes I will eventually figure it out... hopefully.

I got quite a bit done this weekend, but no where near as much as I wanted to get done, oh well. Today I basically just did more notes and more notes and I went to the gym and tidied my room and thats basically all that was done today.

Oh and my roommates have been slowly returning all day. Jill returned home first just before one and Erica got home about a half hour ago, but then she went out to have dinner with her daddy and then go grocery shopping and she's being an awesome roommate and picking up my milk for me :D Carrying 4L of milk on the bus is no fun, no fun what so ever.

Tomorrow is almost an extension of my weekend seeing as I only have one class, unfortunately it's the one class that I hate, fortunately, we are just having a tutorial session in preparation for the mid term on Thursday, which I am still quite nervous about. But it is something that I must do and I just have to get through it, and I will, I will get through it. I also have my math midterm on Friday which I am not too worried about, but i will practice problems this week in prep for the exam.

I know that this is an early posy, but I don't really feel like doing anything else, and I know that's a horrible thing to say, but I just want to relax and warm up. It's getting colder now, I think it's -2 C or 271 K and it gets colder at night, I'm not quite sure how I am going to survive here when it's like -30. Now that is a scary thought.

Starting to Feel a little homesick :(

Today was a rather dull day.
Though it did start off well, with a very nice and unexpected phone call, which I greatly appreciated :)
I did more homework today and I also cooked a lot, like I made Vegetarian Chili and then I froze it so I can eat it later and I made myself thanksgiving dinner, complete with gravy, stuffing, mash potatoes and broccoli, But i had chicken instead of turkey and since i didnt have pumpkin pie, i made a rather odd but delicious desert. I had rice cakes with Nutella and strawberry Jam, which is an amazing combination. I also watched 2 movies today: 27 dresses and Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, both were very enjoyable.

Today Erica also sent me a picture, proving that Kitimat (I have no idea how to spell it :( ) actually has an overwaitea :-O.
I didn't leave my dorm today which is rather pathetic, but it was cold and I was lazy, instead of going to the gym I took a hot bath and I painted my toe nails.

Aman from across the hall came over and I helped her with physics homework (apparently I understood it well enough to help someone else do it) and we talked and watch the simpsons and family guy and american dad and the cleavland show, it was nice to have some social interaction.

Tomorrow I plan on doing my chemistry lab and reading my second draft of my english essay and doing more readings for english and bio and chem. I also should do some practice math and physics problems considering I have 2 midterms this week.

Well that basically sums up my day, Oh and I discovered that when I'm alone I feel far more homesick :(

The Long Lonesome Weekend Day 1

So it wasnt all that lonesome, but I was more lonely today than I normally am on Saturdays
But I'm surviving
I got some homework done today and I did my grocery shopping with Leslie from across the hall.

There was also a thanksgiving dinner for people who didn't go home in residence, so Leslie and I went to that and met up with a girl named Tami, and we went back to Leslies room to enjoy our turkey and pumpkin pie and we watched Edward Scissorhands which I had never seen, but I really liked it, and I would gladly watch it again. Following the movie we talked for while.

It bothers me when people start saying things that I know not to be true and they don't justify what they're saying. like I'm all up for debating issues and stuff like that, but if people aren't willing to back up facts it becomes rather boring and pointless and hard to listen to.

I am also super Jealous of Danny right now, because he just saw the Blue Man Group and I would love to see the Blue Man Group. Apparently it was amazing.

It's been 3 hours.... I'm still doing laundry.

Today is the day that a lot of people went home for thanksgiving
I did not,
Not because I didn't have the option, but because I didnt want to waste the money going home, for a weekend only to spend my time at home studying for midterms.
So I'm alone
all my roommates are gone
But I'm making good use of my time, I'm doing laundry, laundry which hasn't been done in awhile and I have been doing if for over 3 hours and it's still not done, but it's almost done...kinda.... to be honest I have all of my semi dry laundry hanging throughout my dorm, It is everywhere and I still have more in the dryer, or should I call it a warmer, because that's all it really does, oh and did I mention that so far I have spent nine dollars doing my laundry... It's crazy.

Doesn't this sound like a wild and crazy way for a young university student to spend her friday nights? I think so.... not

My plans for this weekend consist of studying and homework and grocery shopping, I went to go grocery shopping today but the power was out in college heights and I wasted and hour going and I returned with nothing.....which sucked.

I got a package from my daddy today. It consisted of the following:
~ A slap chop (have you seen the infomercial?)
~ a roll of quarters (good timing)
~ Purdys white chocolate (yum)
~ Caramels (also yum)
~ Satsuma Body wash (yay)
~ A letter (i love letters)
~ a post card (that had been sent to my home address)

All in all a great Care Package, Thanks Daddy! I Love You!
