Done!

I can't believe that my second to last semester is done.

Today was a long day, Katie's phone rang at 7 am which woke me and I couldn't fall back asleep which resulted in me getting less that 5 hours of sleep :(

I got out of bed at 9 as did some packing as studying and tidying up. I had breakfast as well

I reviewed notes and had a sandwich for lunch and at 120 Jenina, Katie and I walked down to the school to write our final exams and my last exam was by far the easiest. I was done in 50minutes :) which was good since I started the exam at 130 and the airporter was picking me up at 330.

The drive to the airport was long and bumpy and got quite motion sick and the
Motion sickness continued on the plane :(

Luckily it was a quick flight and my daddy was waiting when we landed and it was nice to see him

We got some white spot on the way home because we were both hungry an once I was home I got to see my pets, Oliver was VERY excited to see me and picked my face for a long long time

Patches was also happy to see me but I was saddened by how skinny she looks, I'm worried about her, I think she needs different food,

I'm now doing laundry and relaxing in bed and I get to spend three lovely weeks at home, I'll be back to blogging in the new year. I head backup PG on January 6th

1 sleep 1 exam

I stayed out a bit late, I was hanging out with a guy named Derek, who seems very nice, and we had a nice time, lots of. Conversation, but he likes to correct my English....but he also likes phineas and ferb and was excited about my perry the platypus pencil case

Earlier in the day I studied for finals
Played some settlers of catan
Said good bye to Kris since I likely won't see him again before I go. We had a wicked good bye hug :) it involved being picked up and I felt so tall haha

I also said goodbye to Liz who went back home today and Elaine who also got to go home today

For dinner I had nutella croissants which was a bad dinner choice before an exam

My exam was at 6 and it was ok considering the amount of time I had invested into studying

Now it's late an should be off to bed

2 sleeps, 2 exams

So close I can almost smell home (not that it has a particular smell) Last night I did not sleep awesome, Katie, Liz and I slept in the livingroom and theres the clock that ticks and Liz makes eating noises in her sleep, and all in all not a nice sleep. I was out of bed just before 9, and got down my suitcase to pack, and stripped off my sheets so I could wash them. I put my mattress back in my room and then did laundry, washed my sheets and my towels, so that when I come back in January my sheets will be clean :) I did some studying and dropped off some stuff at the school and sold one textbook, and then when I came back Kris came over and we played two games of settlers of Catan. One was seafarers and I started off strong, but was then targeted and Kris won. The next game was normal and Liz won, and I came in a very close second, which I was okay with because Liz rarely wins and I was so close. After settlers the girls go dressed up and we went down to have dinner at Hummus brothers and it was soso and then we missed the bus up and had to wait an hour so we went to Starbucks to kill time. i had Eggnog Chai and it was delicious :) Once back in res I finished my geo of Canada notes, and made some plans with Danny for when I am home for Christmas, we are going for Sushi on the 23rd :) I'm excited My plan now is PJs and then bed Yay 2 more sleeps and 2 exams till home :D Night!

Girl's Night!

Lets sum this up quick Liz flew in the morning to write an exam that she had tomorrow and will be spending a few days with Katie and I I spent my morning studying for the exam that have Friday, and then Liz arrived and we hung out and such, and waited for Katie to get back from writing her exam, and once she was done Kris came over and we played settlers of America, and it was okay, it's very different and as per usual Kris won, and the rest of us were upset by it We then played a game of normal settlers and I was looking strong, but Kris won :( and then he took Katie and Liz to McDonalds, and I stayed back to watch the on-call phone because Katie is on Call Once the girls came back we moved the mattresses into the livingroom, and got comfortable to watch magic mike, and it was a soso movie, there were some nice asses and abs, but it was not an amazing plot, Katie wanted full frontal nudity, but there was none, just lots of bums, which I was perfectly fine with, Now was are all kind of doing our own thing, Liz is skyping with Jeremy and Katie is texting Kris, Soon it will be bed time, Li has an exam in morning and I have things to do, and I dont have all that much to say 3 sleeps and 2 exams until home Night!

Actually left the house

This morning my alarm went off at 8, and I did not want to get out of bed, but them I remembered that I had a meeting and had to get out of bed to check my agenda to see when it was, and it was at 10, so I crawled back into my warm bed for a bit. At 10, I had a meeting with Jenn and Rob to discuss the Educational RA position, and what goes well, and what hasnt gone well and such. It was a nice casual chat and I hope it was beneficial. After my meeting I had breakfast and the Elaine informed me that not only did I get the highest mark on the Final in Wildlife Ecology, I also got the only A+ overall, which is awesome, I went down to the school to meet up with Elaine so we could celebrate good Wildlife Ecology grades, we hung out and got a poutine and then she came up to res for a bit and we studied and Elaine drew me some beautiful pictures :) After that I had some leftover pizza for dinner at at 6:30 I had my "Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader" Event and no one came, well I asked Jenina to come to keep me company so she came, but that was it. We had some snacks, did some trivia, Jenina got a prize and we waited 30minutes and no one else showed up :( Oh well, it was bad timing. After the event, I ate some chips and cookies and was a bit saddened by my failed event, but of well, I wasnt really productive in the evening, I informed my dad of my top wildlife ecology grades, and there is a possibility that I might get straight A's this semester which would be wicked. I should be off to bed soon as I am still not 100% well and I need my rest and I am not being productive, so I might as well get some sleep 4 sleeps and 2 finals until home! Also Liz visits tomorrow :) and will be staying with us until Thursday :) Night!

5 more sleeps, I got this

Today was another do nothing day, and they are starting to really bore me. I will not allow tomorrow to be a do nothing day, especially since doing nothing doesn't appear to be making me better in any way shape or form, so I really could have been more productive. This morning I was a bit productive and I wrote up my research summary that I need to submit because of the research award I received, so that was something I needed to do as I have to submit it before I go home on Friday. The rest of my day was spent watching movies, and feeling like crap. I watched love actually, which very well might be my favourite holiday movie :) and then a few other christmas movies. I showered, got kind of dressed and laid about. At about 5 I started preparing the food for the RLT staff Potluck that was today at 6, and the potluck was awesome, great food and good company, but I ate too much again. I think my plan now is bed, then up early, shower early and actually get out of teh building and breath some fresh air tomorrow. I might even go into the lab and do some nests and hopefully start studying for my last two finals. I guess I'll go get ready for bed, but first some buckleys, yum Also, my entire have been so lame since I have been doing nothing, I really need to do something about that Night!

Such a lazy day

I had one call last night after I had gone to bed but it wasn't a big deal, just some guys gimping about a little too heavily.

Today I didn't really do much

I watched movies, took a shower
Wished my dad a happy birthday
Called my mom and talked to her for a bit


Katie and I had a taco night in our room so we did some prep for that and Moved all my things out of the livingroom and into my room so now my room is a disaster

I ate too many tacos and with the left over cheese I decided to make cheese biscuits and then thought it was a good idea to eat two
I'm too full, I feel gross and like I shouldn't eat for the rest of the weekend because I ate so much today, but sadly that is not how things work

Soon I will be off to bed as I'm sleep and would like to have a productive day tomorrow, boys re what I'll do but hopefully more than I did today

2/4 finals are done :)

This morning at 9, I wrote my pop and com final, I was done at about 1030, but didnt hand it in until 11 because I didnt want to hand it in first and to be honest I think I did okay, it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, and when I handed in my final I also got back my population model and I didnt do as well as I would have like but I did okay and i think I will pull off an A- in the course which would be cool After my exam I didnt really know what to do, I'm still sick, and have decided that this weekend my main focus will be getting healthy and getting lots of rest so I will be doing that all weekend At 1:30 I went shopping with Jenn and Katie Sven from the housing office to get some snacks and prizes for my final December event, which is Are you Smarter than a 5th grader which I will be doing on Monday Shopping was fun, I tried to find neocitron but it could not be found so I go some buckleys, which I am hoping will help with the getting better goal. Once back in res Katie and I ordered pizza for dinner, and I talked with my mom for a bit and decided to have some me time so I painted my nails and such, I also talked with my brother for a bit. I'm also on Call and so far it has been quiet, I just have to do my 11 rounds which I am hoping will be quiet and then BED! YAY! Anyways I can do rounds now so I'm going to get them done with and then hopefully hit the hay soon Night!

Sick of studying, i mean sick and studying

Another day sick
Another day spent trying to study

I tried to study pop and com and lasted a few hours and then starting feeling very shitty, upon standing my head would pound and I would get dizzy and have to sit down

I was on the couch for a bit, hoping to feel better


Eventually Elaine came to go over stuff which was nice, I know more than I thought I did which is a bit reassuring


After Elaine left I did a bit more studying and took a shower, I'll be off to bed soon to rest up for my exam in the morning

Guess What? I'm still sick!

This morning I managed to sleep until about 8, and stayed in bed until 9, then I ate breakfast and took a nice hot shower which was amazing and made me feel better. I had planned on meeting Elaine at the school to study for wildlife ecology and we actually spent a decent amount of time studying, took a break for lunch but not really as we quizzed each other when eating. I actually studied in the library too, which I really dont like, It's too quite and you can feel the stress coming from other people, its just not my thing, and tomorrow Elaine wants to spend all day studying pop and com in the library but I dont know if I can do that, but we will see After studying at the library we moved up to res so we could talk without feeling like we were disturbing everyone else and we worked through the info again and had dinner and relaxed a little bit with some 5th grade science trivia, and then went down to write our Wildlife Ecology final at 530. The final took me just over and hour and it went ok, not horrible, not great just ok. Writing it was rather unpleasant as my head started to get heavy and achy and my neck started hurting, it was unpleasant so I was glad that it was a quick one to write. I think in the end I'll end up with a A- maybe an A, hopefully and A, but only time will tell. After the exam it was back to res and I had tater tots and ice cream as a celebration of me being done, and now my tummy hurts a bit :( Silly Me I'm still sick, my temperature regulation is off, my nose has problems, I cough, my throat hurts, my head hurts, It's just all around unpleasant and now I have one day to study for my pop and com final :( I hope I can pull it off. I think it's time for bed, I hope that the more rest I get the higher the chance I will get well quicker. 9 sleeps, 3 finals, one on call shift and one RA event until home! Night!

Still sick :(

Had my panama meeting this morning at 8 :(
I was tire and feeling like poop

After the meeting I wanted to go back to bed, but I studied

And the rest of my day was staying, resting, drinking 3 liters of tea and cup of garlic ginger lemon and by water which I can still taste

I also just watched the Victoria secret fashion show which was pretty, I was pretty underwear now haha

But it's late and I have my first final tomorrow and I need my rest so off to bed I go

Last day of class

I'm still sick, I was in bed for 12 hours, got up
Did some studying, did my passive program for December

Went to my one class that hadn't been cancelled
Pop and com

After class drank a whole ton of yea and studied, still not feeling great

RA meeting was fun, we exchanged secret snowflake gifts and I got 3 new kinda of tea :)
So excited to try them out tomorrow :)

Sick :(

My day was spent being sick

I went to the RLT breakfast this morning which was yummy

I was feeling very shitty today, feverish congested sore throat etc

I spent most of the day rest in the couch, I tried to break my fever by sweating it out and then I tried a cold bath, in the end I still don't feel awesome

I also finally got my movie back from AJ and I didn't get an explanation as to why he changed, but I won't stress and I probably won't hear from him again, but life goes on

I'm now watching ice age 4 with Katie and kris and then I will go to bed and hope to feel better in the morning so I can study

The laziest and least constructive day in a very long time

I was awake at 7, but didnt get out of bed until just after 9, once awake I had tea and some banana bread for breakfast, and then i started to type my wildlife eco notes, Finished typing, printed those notes and two lectures worth of pop and com I filled in the graphs on my wildlife eco notes and past that i did not do much else, I watched The frog princess and read over some notes, To be honest most of my day was just spent watching movie and phineas and ferb, I thought about doing other things but I just wasnt feeling it, I'm not feeling like doing much of anything, I showered today, that was an accomplishment. I just wasnt feeling it today, I havent actually been feeling it latley, I don't realy want to do much of anything and I think I'm getting sick again :( Another thing I did today was text AJ again about returning my movie, it's only been about a month, and he's been avoiding getting it back to me, apparently he will deliver it tomorrow, but i'm not going to get my hopes up, I've done that one or two too many times, I just dont care anymore, I just want my movie back. I guess part of me wants to know how he went from a nice sweet boy who seemed interested in me, to a rather jerkish guy who bails last minute, and people say girls are the confusing ones I think I will probably just go to bed, I dont feel well, I'm not doing anything and if I stay up I'll just eat and become more of a blob than I already am :( I cant wait for this semester to be done and over, I really need a break from school and life and PG Night!
