one week until I'll be on my way home

Even though I was up late last night taking to dan I was up early this morning to go bird watching. I got up at 7 and got ready to go meet everyone for 8 down at the bus loop and we all piled into a convoy of cars and went to Macmillan park on the other side of the nechako river and it was nice, I really need to get out more and get more hours of bird watching, especially before it snows, I also have to email my prof with some questions which I think I will be doing after I finish this post.

After bird watching I came home and Liz and I made turkey soup and then Liz fake curled my hair and it's so pretty but it took so long, I thought I was going to be late for class, but I made it on time, I even managed to have time to get my notes printed out which was good. My ornimam class was short and we did a mini review of what we need to know for the midterm next class, which I am not too nervous about, yes I need to study, but the information is alright.

I had over an hour and a half to kill between classes which is never fun, I really wish all my classes were back to back, My cell and molec went through stages of me taking notes, then me falling asleep and then back to note taking, but I made it through and then I got to go back to rez and have SOUP with Liz.

I was thinking Liz and were going to have a girly night, but Jeremy came over.
After that not much happened, I read the help while sitting in the living room and Liz and Jeremy bickered a bit and Then watched football, well Jeremy watched, I don't think Liz is a fan of football.

Well that sums up my day, I know a lame Friday.

Now For some other stuff:
I feel lame, I have no desire to do things, I just want to relax and hang out with people I am not in a party mood, like I want to dress up and stuff but I don't really want to go anywhere and to be honest there isn't really anywhere to go in prince george when you are dressed up. I also feel lonely and I am not really a fan of being the third wheel to Liz and Jeremy, I like hanging out just Liz and I, and Katie :), but Katie went home for the weekend.

Anyways I think I'm going to talk to Dan in Hopes of feeling better

A Quickie because I'm on the phone

This morning I was up early for my cell & molec tutorial which was alright and after that was aquatics and that class made me want to kind kill myself. But I made it through

I then had lunch and my office hours, and they were not very productive, I read the help rather than studying.

I then went to Ichs and Herps and I am now really scared for the midterm :S
I hope I can pull it off


After class came dinner and hanging out with Katie while waiting for Liz to get out of class, so we could all go shopping.

Eventually we left to go bra shopping which was super fun :)

We then came home and had basically a fashion show and now im talking to Dan which is why this a short post

I feel like an alien life form is going to burst out of mt stomach

This will be a quick entry because I am in pain at the moment. My stomach is killing me :(

Today was a productive day. I completed my cell and molec Assignement and got the mark back from the first one and I hot 4.1/5 which was slightly above the average mark which is good.

I also studied for my ornimam quiz and ended up doing quite well, I think I got between 80 and 83% which is pretty solid.

Forensic anthropology is when my stomach started killing me and it continued through the Rez council meeting afterwards. But a funny thing happened at the meeting and that funny thing js this:

10 days Till Home :)

This morning I was up around 8:30 and I showered and had breakfast, and chilled before going to class, luckily this morning I was feeling a bit better, at least I wasn't nauseous anymore.

Aquatic Systems was so boring, I honestly don't know how I survive that class, but I do. After class Anglea, Kacie, Sam and I worked on our Cell and Molec assignments which I have to finish tomorrow as we did not complete it today, one of the questions was super confusing, but after emailing the prof, I think I understand what I have to do and I will be able to complete the assignment tomorrow.

After that I took notes and such and had lunch, which was a hot openfaced turkey sandwich, so good. Then I went to Ichs and Herps which was alright and after class I worked on studying for my ornimam lab quiz tomorrow, which is going to be difficult, I am not a fan of latin names for orders and families and there are similar and hard to spell. So wish me luck on that tomorrow.

I then hung out with fabris, katie, and Liz and we watched Glee, and it was a pretty good episode, though I didn't watch the first episode of the season so I am a bit out of the loop, oh well.

I now plan on relaxing and going to bed early as I still dont feel 100% and I want to get up at a decent time tomorrow to be productive.

Not Feeling well today

This morning I was up at 7 to do pilates, but I wasn't feeling well, my tummy was very upset, and I was nauseous, and cold and had a headache. So I went back to bed until 7:30 because I still planned on going bird watching, but at 7:30 I was feeling no better and decided not to go and to rest and hope to feel better.

I was up again at 10, still feeling the same, I ate breakfast slowly and cautiously before going to my Ichs and Herps lab where we had to ID fish again which is no fun to do when you are feeling nauseous but I made it through and was done by one.

I went back to rez and tidied my room and bit and rested until my class at 3:30, and that class was boring, but I made it through, and then had some toast for dinner and went to the Rez Council Exec meeting which was quick and then Liz Katie and I were going to go to LaSenza, but Katie was on call so Liz and I went but it was closed and we were sad and then instead we wandered around walmart for about an hour and a half. I surprising didn't get much just some hand lotion and chapstick and possibly some pringles.

I told myself I wasnt going to eat after 7, but all I had for dinner was toast so when I got back to Rez I was in a snacky mood, and ate pringles and crackers and peanut butter, and then I told myself to stop and now I'm getting ready for bed, because I need some serious rest and I'm hoping that i'll be feeling better in the morning.

Thank goodness for blog apps

I just did pilates an don't feel like getting off the couch to write in my blog, good thing I have a blog app.

Do this morning I got up around 830 and Liz and I got ready to go to walmart to get some stuff for our turkey dinner and we learned something, walmart is not busy at all at 9 am on a Sunday.
We go what we needed and came back to rex and Liz made a cake while I played with the still frozen turkey in the fridge. We decided, well Liz decided his name was Frank. I needed to get inside Franks cavity but it was frozen shut. I looked up online and learned that you can defrost a turkey in the microwave. So Frank went in the microwave, good thing he's small. I thawed him enough to get the neck and gross bits put of his cavity, then I stuffed him with veggies, rubbed him down with butter And seasoning and he went in the oven for many hours.

I spent the rest of my day reading and cooking/preparing for tonights dinner.
At around 6, it was dinner time and katie, Courtenay, Morganne, and Jeremy were all over for dinner and it was so good, but I ate way too much and then ate some cake on top of that.

Then Liz and I cleaned up the kitchen and living room which luckily didn't take too long. Then I sat on the couch and watched Liz and jeremy play wii until finally Liz took him home and I did pilates and now I'm using my phone to write in my blog as I watch American dad on tv.

A day of unsual Events

This morning was an early one, with my 8:30 cell and molec Tutorial, and we went over the first assignment and I think I did okay on.

After my Tutorial I met up with Katie and we hung out until we caught the 10:06 bus downtown so she could get her Tattoo. I had to miss my aquatics class, by Cassandra had my back and got me the notes, but now I owe her one, but that's cool.

The place where Katie got her Tattoo was like no place I had ever been in before, it was bright and clean and only women work there and her tattoo artist was very nice and professional and she did so well and her tattoo turned out really well. It's super cute, though I will say it was a bit pricey, but in PG you don't have many options and better to pay more to go to a less sketchy place.

We got back to the school around noon and I had lunch and then went to get rez Wear to sell in the mail room for 2 hours, and a very strange thing happened when I was sitting there:
A guy walks out of Neyoh, and stops as he's leaving the mailroom and asks " Are you Chanel" and I am so I replied with "yes" he then said "you have a blog right?" And again my answer was "Yes", Finally as he's leaving he says "yea, I'm the guy who messaged you on FB"
This is craziness, this summer, a guy named Jacob sent me a message on FB saying "Hey you don't know me, but I just wanted to say thanks for writing that blog. I randomly came across it when I was searching for thinking about life in rez, it has kept me entertained for the last two weeks aha" and it was the first time someone had actually read my blog and then contacted me via facebook, I then found out that he was going to UNBC this year and was going to live in Residence. I'm always surprised when I find out that someone actually takes the time to read my blog especially if they don't know me, and I'm glad my life here can seem entertaining to some people. I do wonder if he still reads my blog? Hmm, perhaps I should ask next time I see him. It was just such an odd situation, and I feel like people who overheard the conversation must have been so very confused. Anyways, I thought it was cool and I felt special :)

After my selling of Rez Wear I went to my Ichs and Herps class, followed by dinner and followed by Kickboxing, and it was way more intense this week, Im sore already and I also think I may have discovered part of the reason why my Jaw has been acting up and I think it has to do with increasing my heart rate too much. because it was feeling better today, but after the class, it now is back to hurting the same, maybe I need to take it easy.

After kickboxing I watched a hour of New Big Bag Theory and took a shower, I now have to get in my PJs and wait for Dan to be off work so I can call him.

Not Such A Nice Day

This morning I woke up and it was not very nice out, it was grey and very very windy.

I spend my Morning Tidying things that have now become messy and planning my day. I took a shower and had lunch and packed a dinner, and gathered everything i needed for the day.

I had my stuff for my Ornimam lecture and lab and for my Anthro class and some Ichs and Herps stuff so i could be productive between class.

My Ornimam lecture was good though I still hate the room we are in and then the lab after was short, just more looking at birds and such, I was done in a hour and then I spent awhile getting some, but not all, my readings done, then I grabbed a bagel because the salad I packed was not enough and I had that while waiting for my Anthro Class at 6:30,

My Anthro class started off Happy, with an Episode of Bones and then it got depressing with our guest lecturer talking about the work he does in mass grave sites in latin america, and we saw pictures and heard stories about all the things he had seen and it was just so sad. It's hard to believe the things people do to each other, I can't imagine doing what he does, I don;t think I could handle it.
After class we had a short Rez Council Meeting in Keyoh and then talked some things over with the RLAs and Rob and now I should be getting ready for bed because I have to be up early in the morning to go to my tutorial and then I'm going with Katie when she goes to get her tattoo. Should be fun.

The Lion King in 3D

So this morning I was up at 7 to go bird watching at 8 with my Ornimam prof and some of my fellow classmates and it was a good experience, I don't know what I would have done if I had gone out on my own, going out with the prof bird watching is really beneficial, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to Id any of the birds I heard or saw, also I think I'm going to have to get Binoculars because seeing birds without them is next to impossible.

After an hour of bird watching, my hands were numb from having to write in the cold, so I made some tea which I took to my Aquatics class which was so boring it almost killed me, not to mention it made like no sense what so ever, he didn't even follow his own slides, it was just a giant mess, that I now will have to sort out at some point and that point will have to be soon as our midterm is in like 2 weeks.

After Aquatics Angela, Kacie and I worked on our cell and molec assignments and it was nice to talk it out with other people, though it did take longer than one would expect, here's hoping we do well on it as it is worth 5% of our grade. After that I did some Aquatics questions and organized my Ornimam field notebook a little bit, though I do now have some questions about it, luckily my lab is tomorrow so it will be the prime opportunity to ask those questions.

At 3:30, I had my Ichs and Herps class which seemed oddly short today, I don't know why but it did and after that I made dinner and got excited to go see the Lion King in 3D with Angela, Cassandra, Angie, Jenna and Kacie, and it was soo cute, they changed nothing, but it was so awesome to see it on the big screen and I may have sang along and quoted lines at points and though it was in 3D it really only had maybe half a dozen good 3D parts the rest was just enhanced colours and depth, but nothing super awesome and jumping out at you.

When I got back from the movie I had a nice chat with my mom and now I am going to finish this blog entry and then curl up in bed with my book and do some nice relaxing reading.

22 days left with Braces

Last night I did not sleep well, my room was stuffy. and this morning I woke up with a headache and accomplished nothing before my lab :(

In my Lab I spent over two hours identifying different species of minnows... it was not very exciting and did not make me like fish very much at all, but I did manage to escape eventually and I went back to Rez to have lunch and to grab my stuff for Cell and Molec. I tried being productive but in the end it failed and I ended up just heading down to the school and I read a but of the Help, which I am hoping to be able to read more of it very soon.

Cell and Molec was boring, I was struggling to stay awake, but I made it through and then made dinner before going to the Rez Council Exec Meeting at 6. Which went better than one would have expected, we got some things sorted out and I think in time things will get better.

After the meeting I painted my nails and hung out with Liz.

I'm currently kind of worried, Dan isn't responding to my texts and he's not home from work yet, I hope he's okay. I called his phone but he didn't answer...

I guess there's nothing I can do except keep trying to reach him.

20 Days Till Home

This morning Katie texted me at 8, which woke me up but it was cool because she wanted to borrow my electric mixer for waffles and then i went and had waffles so it was worth it.

The waffles were yummy which whip cream and berries, so good.

After waffles I came back to my room and cleaned the bathroom and did my laundry, as much as I didn't want to do laundry it would have become necessary soon enough so might was well do it when I want to procrastinate.

I spent the day doing notes and such and trying to be as productive as possible and all in all it was a relatively successful day. At around 3 I went and played MarioKart with Angela, Angie and Becky and it was super fun and on an N64 which made it that more awesome, we then played it on gamecube as well and then I had to go back to our room to let Jeremy who was coming over to make dinner, so I did that and did some email/computer stuff, and then I started reading the help and I'm hoping to get into it soon.

After dinner I just sort of hung out in my room and didn't do all that much, Then Liz came home from dropping off Jeremy and we PLayed Mario Party and we got a little competitive and the Jenina Came home and joined us and it got a bit more competitive, but in the end I won and that's really all that matters, that and the fact that we didn't have a noise complaint made on us, we did get a little loud.

Now Im in the process of getting ready for bed and I can unfortunately hear someones video games coming from outside my window which is a tad annoying I guess I'll have to close my window and sleep in a stuffy room :(

Didn't do Shinerama :(

This morning, my alarm went off at 7am and I did manage to get out bed, but I was not feeling well, I had a headache and chills and was just not doing well and i decided that doing Shinermama would have been a bad choice so I went back to bed.

I finally got out of bed at like 11 and the chills were gone but the headache wasn't. I made tea and a breakfast sandwich, which was very yummy. Then Liz, Jeremy, Jenina and I went shopping. We went to walmart and we decided to buy a Turkey cause it was really cheap, and we plan on making it next weekend.

After walmart we went to Save on and then to the dollar store and in the course of out travels we got decorations for out living room and now it looks much more homey.

I spent the rest of the day taking notes, and trying to communicate with Dan, but he had a bust day and we haven't really been texting much and it's sad, I feel a tad ignored.... oh well. He bought a new car today, but that'd really all I know.

All in all, not a super exciting day, and once again no exercise, I gotta change that, I need to get into a routine of exercise and homework and class and cleaning and everything else that should be included in my everyday life, hopefully soon I'll get things sorted out, until then I guess I'll continue to be a disorganized mess.

Another unproductive day

today I didn't have class until 1:30 and I was quite unproductive until then.
Liz made Pancakes and I printed off notes and such, but nothing really super productive and then I went to class which changed rooms and I don't like the new room, it's small and doesn't have nice tables :(

I spent the rest of my day in another class and then there was lots of eating, lots and lots of eating and no exercise, I need to work on that.

At about 9, Liz, jeremy and I went down to the moose to meet adam, ryan and Dan and we had lots of fun and got in to the infamous Tits vs Ass debate and the Ass group was winning until Katie and her friend who is a boy showed up and tied the score at the table. I think ass might be winning now, but it's a tough call.

Not a Super Awesome day

I feel so disorganized, It's like I just never know to do with my time, I have no routine, I just sit and waste time when I have it and I don't know what to do.

Today I didn;t have class till 1:30 and you wanna know what I did, nothing, I could have been reading or cleaning or organizing things, but no, I decided to do absolutely nothing until about 1 when I went down to the school and did some more nothing until class.
When I'm in class I Do things, I take notes and such, but that's really it.

After class I had my first Ornimam Lab which only lasted an hour and guess what I did with the other two hours, you guessed it....nothing.

I ate some food, and then when to my Forensic Anthro Lab which Finally happened and I learned that I am not a fan of 3 hour lectures, they make my back hurt, it was a good lecture, but I was so uncomfortable and yes we did get one break but still, it was way too much sitting. we got out early at 9 and I basically just gathered crap together for the Rez Council meeting, which in my opinion was kind of a disaster in terms of organization. A lot of people came out, but i don't think We accomplished much :(

Oh well, oh and also apparently the meetings are going to stay on Wednesday which sucks alot because I have class till 9:20pm and then I have class at 8:30am Tomorrow morning, I'm going to and already do hate Wednesdays,
I'm stressed, my stomach is killing me and I don't know why, I'm tired and I really just feel like a complete mess :(

An Early Post and Perhaps an Early Night

Today I actually didn't get up before my alarm, and was instead rudely awoken by my alarm, which I then reset for 30minutes later, but i ended up out of bed 15 minutes later.

This morning was average, breakfast of tea and toast, and then I went off to class.
Aquatic Systems, a very boring and dry course, and sometimes I swear my prof isn't speaking english. The goo news is we get hand out and practice questions every lecture and apparently the exams are easy so I just have to tough it out and go.

After Class I went to the University Farmer's Market with Angela, I bought a cupcake that was supposed to be pineapple, but it lacked pineapple goodness. Liz then met us and we went around the market again and I bought Bread and veggies and salsa, Liz bough Bacon that she can feel good about :)

After that I made lunch and did notes and killed time until my Ichs and Herps class at 3:30, it was a good class, lots of notes, but I did it, after class I was quite hungry but I had to wait for a reasonable time to start dinner, so I couponed until that time was apparent.

For dinner I have a Mexican rice, turkey salsa combination, it was actually really good :)

After dinner I went to the gym and then cam home and did pilates and stretched before showering.

I'm now unfortunatey stuck listening to a blackberry alarm, but as I wrote that I was informed that Jenina's door was unlocked so I just went to turn it off, yay.

I now plan on relaxing, maybe doing my nail, drinking some green tea and then going to bed early.

First Lab of the Semester.

Today I learned Rat Fish are super creepy!


This morning I wanted to stay in bed but sadly I awoke before my alarm and could not go back to sleep :(
When I finally rolled out of bed I went and did pilates in the living room and then showered.

I had my first lab of the semester at 11:30 and it was a Ichs and Herps Labs, and we got to look at low level chordates that are kind of grouped into the fish catagories, like hag fish and rat fish and dog fish and other gross looking fish, it was a rather nasty lab, but it didn't take too long I was back in Rez by about 1, and then I kind of wasted alot of time, I opted out of the medical plan which was good and I bought my Forensic Anthro textbook, which was like 75$.

I then went to my cell and molec class which was basically like genetics but an hour and a half and without Brent Murray which I guess is good and bad. The prof didn't lie when he said that the course was a little dry.

I'm having trouble with my eating today, i just wont stop with the food, even right now I'm thinking about eating cake, how silly am I, It's 9:30 on a monday and I want t eat cake, even though I had a full dinner and then ate some of the leftovers later, I just can't stop with the eating, I need to get myself on track.

Oh a brighter and healthier note, the farmers market in tomorrow, which means fresh local food :) i can't wait.

So Today was full of Procrastination

The procrastination began as soon as I woke up, my abs were sore so I didn't do pilates this morning, I think I'm going to do them tonight, hopefully, even though my abs hurt still.

This morning I baked a lot, First Katie and I made pretzels, lots of pretzels, I made them for the Rez coucil meeting on Wednesday. Then Katie, Jenina and I went to walmart so Katie could get cookie ingredients to make cookies for a boy who helped her with one of her computer science class assignments, i also go some butter and icing sugar to make fabris a birthday cake, because tomorrow is her 20th birthday.

When we got back, I made pound cake for Fabris, in my penis cake pan of course :P
I brought it over with Katie and Liz and she was thrilled.

After that we were hanging in Katie's room, and then Liz mentioned that there was a deep freeze on sale at London Drugs for $100, so we went down to check it out only to discover that the sale ended today so we bought it, we split it, how could we say no, it was 55% off it's regular price and deep freezes are handy, though we did make an error and that error was assuming that it would fit in Georgia, Liz's car. Yea that wasn't going to work, we tried really hard but it just wouldn't fit. Everyone in the parking lot was staring at us as we attempted and failed to get it in her car, and then we got lucky, really lucky and one of Liz's coworkers was leaving and just so happen to be driving a truck, and they offered to bring it up to the university for us. We were very greatful and then Liz and I brought it up to our room and it's chillin in the living room, haha I'm funny.

Jenina didn't even notice when she came it, which is kind of funny, she thought we got paper towel,haha.

Now I am sitting on the couch in front on the tv, telling myself that I must do pilates, I have to at least make and effort at doing them and I plan on doing so at 9:30, so wish me luck.

Today I did pilates and organized my life.
In the evening Fabris and I hung out and went to see Dan's née hedgehog who is such a cutie, then we bused down to meet Liz at work and went to red robin

A late entry, I did remember last night but I was comfy in bed

So yesterday was Friday and It was the Day of Backyard BBQ. And I didn't buy a ticket this year, instead Morganne, Liz, Katie and I sat on the hill and enjoyed a free concert, yay, and to be honest it wasnt even that good, the opening bad was from Quesnel and the Head liner was midway state who are kind of a one hit wonder and I think the opening band sounded better. Oh, Adam also joined us on the hill.
I also managed to do a complete outfit change in a very stealthy way :)

We didn't stay out side for very long, we went inside like just after 9 and Morganne, Liz Adam and I were just hanging out in mine and Liz`s room chatting and then around 10, we hear someone at the door and then a very drunk and loud girl comes stumbling in With Keith and Dan Penny, and apparently she was a friend of Amy`s or that`s what she said anyways, and she wanted to party in our room and then she offered to do a strip tease for us, :S talk about awkward. It`s my job today to talk to Amy about it, though I`m not sure exactly what to say.

I went to bed at a reasonable time and all in all my first real Friday was an alright day.

Day Two of class

So this morning I was up at about 8, before my alarm went off and I stayed in bed until around 8:30 and then I made breakfast, took out the garbage and went to class.

My Aquatic system class was first today and it is a rather larger class in a rather small room and the prof has a Chinese German Accent, which should make for an interesting semester. Though there's not textbook for the class and the tests are cumulative and there are no assignments or papers, just two midterms and a final and I think it could be a great GPA booster.

I then went down to college heights to go to the bank and to mail some stuff to my dad and then on my bus ride up Katie texted me informing me that I had mail, and I got super excited. I rushed up to Rez and found a little box in my mail box and I went upstairs to go on skype because dan wanted to watch me open my present, we talked a little bit and then I opened my gift and found gift cards to the keg and to Red Robin (and whether Dan likes it or not, I'm saving the Keg ones and taking him out when I'm home) and I also got a really pretty necklace, it has a silver and black pendant on a silver chain, it's very pretty, I'm a fan. I also showed Dan the superman sketch I made him for his gift, though I still have to give him the rest of his gift when I'm home in October, which is actually in like a month, which is crazy.

My second class of the day was Ichs and Herps and it's going to be a difficult class, he doesn't post notes, which means I better take good notes, It's also a video conference class and some people in Terrace who were in the field course I took are in this class and i get to see them on a video screen and it's kind of strange, but I guess I will get used to it in due time. After class I hung out in the sun on the hill with Angela and that was nice until I got really hungry and I couldn't stand the pokey grass anymore.

I made a shrimp veggie pasta combination for dinner and now I can't seem to stop eating cake, It's so close to being finished, I might just eat the rest and start fresh tomorrow, I also plan on starting Pilates tomorrow morning.

Liz, Katie and Adam and people are drinking tonight which should be interesting, I on the other hand plan on calling my awesome boyfriend to see how he's doing.

First day of classes... well class

So this morning I was not able to sleep in, I had to go to a meeting at 10am. The meeting went well and then after the meeting Liz and I went to the gym and I am so out of shape. I did cardio for 15 minutes and then stretched for like 10 minutes.

My Goal is to be able to touch my toes by Christmas.

After the gym I showered and had lunch and then I went to My first class, which was Ornimam, and it was an alright first class, we had a mini lecture, though I am a little worried about the notes in the class that wont be posted.

After my class I bought textbooks, and hung with Katie, and then with Liz and Jenina and then I made dinner and at 6:15 I went down to the school to go to my class, only to find out that it was cancelled.... so then I didn't know what to do with myself, and I basically just snacked and killed time.

One thing we did accomplish was doing our suite contract, Amy was here for like 5 minutes, it was a little awkward and she's still not moved in and is not spending the night here.

Right Now Dan, Ryan, Katie, Liz and I are in our living room and Dan wants to party, and Katie wants to party tomorrow, and Liz is up for partying now and Ryan wants to go to sleep, or party. I think he's confused.

I'm SUPER excited for tomorrow, I should be getting my anniversary present in the mail.

This is the last night I will be nice to them

The people above us will not stop with the heavy base music playing at all hours of the day, it is really starting to irritate me. Tomorrow, I'm going up there if they continue to do so.

Today was another early morning on little sleep due to loud residents enjoying the last night before classes start. I was up at 7 and at the sports center by 8 to help with registration for orientation and it was a mess, horribly organized, this were organized in like 3 different ways and it was super difficult even though it didn't need to be. At 9:30 I was done with that and I headed down to the school to go see the people in Awards and Financial Aid in order to tell them that I was waiting on my student loans and that I needed a letter to give the cashier to inform this of this fact, Turns out UNBC has become more efficient they now already have the student loans on record and the cashiers office has it on file, so I then waited in the cashier line for like and hour to get my bus sticker and valid sticker, and I found out after that I could have paid my fees because my loan went into my account which was early.
Oh well, I'll pay my fees soon. I did pay some with my credit card online.

After all that I hung out in Rez and worked on Dan's anniversary gift and then went down to the orientation BBQ and got some free food and drinks, and then I went and chilled in my room with Liz, Morganne and Jenina and I chilled for basically the rest of the day.

I also got some textbooks today and may have found a buyer for one of my books, which is sweet.

Tomorrow I have an early day even though I don't have class till 1:30, I have to meet with the Rez Council Execs at 10am all the way over in Keyoh. And then I hope to goto the gym with Morganne and Liz and then head to my class at 1:10, here's hoping that works out.

I should be settling down now.

Day Two - If the People in N401 don't keep it down, I may lose it

So today was an early morning, I had to be at the school for 9am to give tours to the new students. I did my first tour with a small group of three people the size of the groups got bigger as it got later in the day. I did three hour long tours. Jenina was in my last and largest tour group and they were a tough crowd, they didn't laugh at any of my jokes, maybe they were just nervous...the other groups laughed.... maybe I'm lame?

After the tours I went back to rez and put together a chili in the slow cooker and made myself lunch consisting of a variation of grilled cheese crossed with a pizza. It was good :) I then just hung out with Liz until Jenina got back from Rez Orientation, and then the three of us went to walmart and we got a blanket and two pillows to Jazz up the Rez couch and we tried to find something to put up on our walls but we couldn't find anything that was both nice and a good deal. But the couch looks very snazzy. We may get corresponding pillows to go on the couch.

We got back from Walmart just in time for the Rez BBQ, and we had hot dogs (I had a veggie dog) and salad of the lettuce and of the potato varieties. It was delisiou and free. Then Liz, Jenina, Morganne and I went back to our room to make cake. And it turned out super well.

Adam, Dan, Cait and Justin stopped by to say hi and to eat some cake. They had been drinking and Ryan was super wasted, Justin and Dan went go check up on him and long story short he ended up escaping from Justin and running into the woods and then they had to start a search party to find the drunken Ryan who was on his way to shane lake. Tonight is the first party out at Shane lake and I am not going though I am almost wishing I had because the people above us will not stop with the music with heavy base, like seriously people just leave. You are annoying me, and I don't want to have to go up there.

I'll probably be going to bed soon as I am tired and I have to be at the sports center tomorrow at 8am to get ready for registration. I am not happy about that but it;s my own fault. I don't understand what I was thinking when I volunteered to do that.

A New School Year, A New Start

So Today I'm going to call the First Official day of my Third Year.

I took an online course this summer, and then I took a 10 day Field course in Terrace at the end of August and that Was really Awesome. I spent a weekend with Erica in Kitimat before the course which was super duper awesome, I really miss that Girl.
The field course went well though I did have to write a paper when I finished the course which was an added stress to my life.
I came To Residence on Wednesday August 31st and The next day Liz and I got my stuff out of storage and then later in the afternoon My mom, Brother, Kari and Kristy all came up with all of my stuff from home and they helped me move it in, but I felt bad because I was really stressed and therefore in a not so happy mood. So I am sorry. They stayed till Saturday morning and got me settled, and I really appreciated them being there, and I miss them as they left yesterday morning.


The reason today is the start day for my blog this year is because Today was the official move in Day for Rez and it was a crazy day, I have been up since 7, helping people move in, trying to sell rez wear rather unsuccessfully, and just greeting people. Today Liz and I also met out First Year Roommate Jenina from Maple Ridge and she's short like we are, I'm actually the tallest person in our room right now which isn't saying much. Our other roommate is yet to be seen, but I know her name is Amy and that she is from the sunshine coast. Which is crazy because it's 4 lower mainland kids in one room. Though I do kind of hope she doesn't show, not that I have anything against her, it's just it's so much better in terms of space with only 3 people. But you will be kept posted. Maybe she'll be moving in tomorrow.

After helping with move in, I made dinner and socialized with Jenina and Liz before heading to the floor meeting at 7, which was the usual stuff, no excessive drinking, or violence, safe sex etc. It was the same old same old stuff.

After the meeting Jenina left and Liz and I went to an Art Attack event though I did get sidetracked by the left over food from the parent welcome, which was delicious btw. Eventually I made it to my destination and I found out that we were making Dream catchers and lets just say that mine will catch abstract dreams. I made it for Dan. :)

Then Katie and Liz and many others went to Wendy's a brought back Frosty's which we delicious.

On a side note: There so far has been no contact with Kallie, I've seen her. but she hasn't said a word to me, which is surprising as she tried to keep contact over the summer, we'll wait and see how things work out.

I'm now getting ready for bed as I have another early morning tomorrow. I'm doing campus tours at 9am.

On a very Happy Note: Today is mine and Dan's one year anniversary, amazingly we haven't killed each other yet. <3 You!
