The Friday on the Long weekend

This morning i was up at 7 and felt a bit rushed as I was preparing to be at the school for a lengthy amount of time. I had my lab at 8 am and that was okay, we learned about trapping, and got to play with some traps which was fun After my lab I went to the IT desk to ask if they could help me with my computer troubles, and they gave me the name of a place in town where I could take it to get it looked at. I then ate some food before my Social Geography Seminar, and it was an okay seminar, after that my plan was to go to the lab and try to see how long it would take for me to go through my first nest, but when I got there Janine, was already going through a nest, and I didnt want to disturb what she was doing so I stood around awkwardly for a bit and then decided that I would come back in the morning (early) and set myself up a place to go through nests, and then I will go through my first nest. I hope no one will be in that lab on the weekend, I really just want to get comfortable in the space with no one in it, that way I can look like a fool and no one will know. Since my nest plan failed I was able to say goodbye to Katie before she left, and I called the computer place, but they were not helpful. And then I went to go turn on my computer and magically it was fine, and I didnt do anything, it was just sitting on the table, and it decided to work. Computers confuse me. Katie Left and I began being productive, I worked on my pop and com assignment, my canada journal, my plant eco lab assignment, my social geo proposal, and then at 4:15 I went to the gym to go to a crank n' core class with Elaine and the class kicked me but, everything was burning, and now I am so sore. I went back to res and made myself dinner, I made a Quesidilla, and I also made a cabbage and carrot cheesy caserole, which ended up being quite delicious, I took a shower, and I plan on going to bed soon, I have to be up super early tomorrow Night!

Time is still flying

Today was a pretty good day
Had two hours of class, and my lab was cancelled and instead I went to the library to work on my lab assignment and I got the majority I the assignment done which was nice

After that I has lunch, complete with Walter McLellans seafood chowder (mad by me) and corn on the cob.

At 2 I went to the gym with Elaine and had a good work out, I'm so sore and will continue to get sore. After the gym I did some wildlife ecology studying and killed time.

I spent my evening watching weeds with Katie and kris, then Liz and Jeremy came over and we watched face off, which is an awesome show.

I plan on taking a super speedy shower tonight and then going to bed,

Time is flying.

This morning I was up at 8, just before my alarm went off. I had breakfast and killed time until heading down to the school a bit early to work on my geo of Canada assignment a bit before class.
In class we finished watching black robe, and it was a dull and in some ways offensive, I was not a fan of the movie and I was glad that it was over, and then I had to write my personal response to the movie.

My social geography class was good and interesting, we were talking about crime which is an interesting topic.

After that i went to pop and com and had lunch before class, my yogurt has leaked a bit, but luckily I was smart and had it in a ziploc bag
Pop and con was rough as usually, we also got our second problem set assigned, which is not awesome because I have enough to do already.


After class I picked my my good food box, 20 pounds of fresh local veggies and 2 pounds of local chicken. There were awesome veggies in the box like corn and kale.
I had a productive afternoon, completed todo list, made seafood chowder, roasted corn in the oven and cooked up some of my chicken and the corn and chicken were soo good.

I met up with Jenn to get stud for res giving on Sunday, there is now one turkey in our normal fridge and I have one in my mini fridge haha, I guess my fridge isn't that mini.

My computer is still messed up and I have asked Daniel to mail me up my old dell and I will look into getting it fixed, by calling around to see what places can do it and how much it would cost to fix it.

I'm also on call tonight which means I have to stay up past 11, and I'm sleepy. At 11 I am meeting up with Christina for rounds and then I will be off to bed and have hopefully a quiet night.

If only my computer wasnt having issues, I'd be having an excellemt time

I only had two hours of class today because I didn't have a pop and con tutorial at 8;30 which was nice. My wildlife ecology class was interesting as my plant ecology class happened, but I am not sure as to what we were supposed to learn, I don't get much out of that class

After class I went up to res to have a quick snack and then went to meet Elaine so we could do groove together, and it was a good groove class :) lots of jumping, very tiring.
After the class I went to res, changed, has another snack and then went to have a meeting with Russ about protocols for going through nests and I also found out I got the undergraduate research award which means I will actually get some money for my mindless repetitive work which will be nice. I also got a key to the lab which is cool, I feel like I have power haha

After that I hung out with Liz and we went to London drugs to get an hdmi cable, it was a $80 cable that Liz got for 9$ which is awesome.
Once home I hooked up my laptop to the tv and discovered that I think I will have to get it fixed, my vision is started to get blurry from looking at either my shakey screen or at the tv screen. It makes me sad, I'll have to find a place to take it to get fixed.

I will be off to bed soon, and have a busy day tomorrow, I need to start being more
Motivated and productive since I now have to commit time to research and balance everything, should be fun......

My computer sucks!

Today I had a meeting at 9 for the panama field school, it was sort of an interview, it went well

At 10 I had my geography of Canada class where we ate watching a film called black robe which is a rather dull movie in my opinion, at the end of the class we got back our quizzes and before he handed them out he informed us that he had given everyone an extra 3.25 marks out of 20, so I ended up with 17.75/20 which is an acceptable mark considering I didn't do any of the readings

After that I had social geography with Jim window which was awesome as per usual.

Then I ate lunch while waiting for pop and com. Pop and com was dull and hard to get through. But I made it and handed in the first only 5 assignments, yay!

After class I rushed to catch the 230 bus so I could go to the bank and prove that I was a student again so they wouldn't charge me bank fees, it was sorted out quickly.

At 430 I had to go and thin our my plant Eco assignment with Kurt, which only took about 20minutes

Once back in my room I went to turn on my computer and knew something was wrong when the start up screen was green instead of black and the screen was pixely and moving. I texted Daniel who called me and told me to google it since he wasn't home, I tried to fix it and failed so I texted Matt who called me and eventually he remotely connected to my computer and tried to sort it out, we discovered that it must be a loose wire that connects to my screen which in a way sucks because I will have to deal with a fucked up screen until December when I can go home and he can fix it for me hopefully, the good thing is that my computer minus the screen appears to be fine.

After spending some time typing on my messes up screen it was eventually time for the RA meeting. It was an okay meeting an now it's time for bed.

I hope technology related things go better for me tomorrow

The never ending sunday

This morning I got up at 8, having gone to bed after 3, so it would be a slight understatement to say that I was tired
The reason I was up early was because I had the Nissan leaf from 8-11 and I wanted to take advantage of my time with the car, at 830 I left in the leaf and went shopping.
I bought lots of groceries and I I excited to have a full fridge.

Once back at res, I was not productive, I have been so tired all I want to do is lounge about, and that's what I did

My only plan for the test of the night is a shower followed by a good nights sleep

A quickie

A quick summary since its late and I need sleep

I did homework, watched movies, finished an assignment it Elaine, watches more movies, did more homework

Then had an awesome fun night out, pre drank with Katie, Liz and kris, we modified settlers to make it more fun, then we hit up the genny and met up with Adam Dan and cait and had super fun times. Liz left early but made it home safe, kris showed up even though he said he wasn't coming as him and Katie left at about 2

Adam was an awesome friend and took the last bus up with me to the university, he was concerned with my safety, such a nice boy adam is, I miss hanging out with him.

Time to drink something as I'm thirsty and then bed, I have an early day tomorrow
