A quickie

Today I did pilates and organized my life.
In the evening Fabris and I hung out and went to see Dan's née hedgehog who is such a cutie, then we bused down to meet Liz at work and went to red robin

The Liz and I went to visit Katie and watched mean girls.

It's a quickie cause I wanna sleep.

A late entry, I did remember last night but I was comfy in bed

So yesterday was Friday and It was the Day of Backyard BBQ. And I didn't buy a ticket this year, instead Morganne, Liz, Katie and I sat on the hill and enjoyed a free concert, yay, and to be honest it wasnt even that good, the opening bad was from Quesnel and the Head liner was midway state who are kind of a one hit wonder and I think the opening band sounded better. Oh, Adam also joined us on the hill.
I also managed to do a complete outfit change in a very stealthy way :)

We didn't stay out side for very long, we went inside like just after 9 and Morganne, Liz Adam and I were just hanging out in mine and Liz`s room chatting and then around 10, we hear someone at the door and then a very drunk and loud girl comes stumbling in With Keith and Dan Penny, and apparently she was a friend of Amy`s or that`s what she said anyways, and she wanted to party in our room and then she offered to do a strip tease for us, :S talk about awkward. It`s my job today to talk to Amy about it, though I`m not sure exactly what to say.

I went to bed at a reasonable time and all in all my first real Friday was an alright day.

Day Two of class

So this morning I was up at about 8, before my alarm went off and I stayed in bed until around 8:30 and then I made breakfast, took out the garbage and went to class.

My Aquatic system class was first today and it is a rather larger class in a rather small room and the prof has a Chinese German Accent, which should make for an interesting semester. Though there's not textbook for the class and the tests are cumulative and there are no assignments or papers, just two midterms and a final and I think it could be a great GPA booster.

I then went down to college heights to go to the bank and to mail some stuff to my dad and then on my bus ride up Katie texted me informing me that I had mail, and I got super excited. I rushed up to Rez and found a little box in my mail box and I went upstairs to go on skype because dan wanted to watch me open my present, we talked a little bit and then I opened my gift and found gift cards to the keg and to Red Robin (and whether Dan likes it or not, I'm saving the Keg ones and taking him out when I'm home) and I also got a really pretty necklace, it has a silver and black pendant on a silver chain, it's very pretty, I'm a fan. I also showed Dan the superman sketch I made him for his gift, though I still have to give him the rest of his gift when I'm home in October, which is actually in like a month, which is crazy.

My second class of the day was Ichs and Herps and it's going to be a difficult class, he doesn't post notes, which means I better take good notes, It's also a video conference class and some people in Terrace who were in the field course I took are in this class and i get to see them on a video screen and it's kind of strange, but I guess I will get used to it in due time. After class I hung out in the sun on the hill with Angela and that was nice until I got really hungry and I couldn't stand the pokey grass anymore.

I made a shrimp veggie pasta combination for dinner and now I can't seem to stop eating cake, It's so close to being finished, I might just eat the rest and start fresh tomorrow, I also plan on starting Pilates tomorrow morning.

Liz, Katie and Adam and people are drinking tonight which should be interesting, I on the other hand plan on calling my awesome boyfriend to see how he's doing.

I'm going to grab a piece of cake and call Dan

First day of classes... well class

So this morning I was not able to sleep in, I had to go to a meeting at 10am. The meeting went well and then after the meeting Liz and I went to the gym and I am so out of shape. I did cardio for 15 minutes and then stretched for like 10 minutes.

My Goal is to be able to touch my toes by Christmas.

After the gym I showered and had lunch and then I went to My first class, which was Ornimam, and it was an alright first class, we had a mini lecture, though I am a little worried about the notes in the class that wont be posted.

After my class I bought textbooks, and hung with Katie, and then with Liz and Jenina and then I made dinner and at 6:15 I went down to the school to go to my class, only to find out that it was cancelled.... so then I didn't know what to do with myself, and I basically just snacked and killed time.

One thing we did accomplish was doing our suite contract, Amy was here for like 5 minutes, it was a little awkward and she's still not moved in and is not spending the night here.

Right Now Dan, Ryan, Katie, Liz and I are in our living room and Dan wants to party, and Katie wants to party tomorrow, and Liz is up for partying now and Ryan wants to go to sleep, or party. I think he's confused.

I'm SUPER excited for tomorrow, I should be getting my anniversary present in the mail.

This is the last night I will be nice to them

The people above us will not stop with the heavy base music playing at all hours of the day, it is really starting to irritate me. Tomorrow, I'm going up there if they continue to do so.

Today was another early morning on little sleep due to loud residents enjoying the last night before classes start. I was up at 7 and at the sports center by 8 to help with registration for orientation and it was a mess, horribly organized, this were organized in like 3 different ways and it was super difficult even though it didn't need to be. At 9:30 I was done with that and I headed down to the school to go see the people in Awards and Financial Aid in order to tell them that I was waiting on my student loans and that I needed a letter to give the cashier to inform this of this fact, Turns out UNBC has become more efficient they now already have the student loans on record and the cashiers office has it on file, so I then waited in the cashier line for like and hour to get my bus sticker and valid sticker, and I found out after that I could have paid my fees because my loan went into my account which was early.
Oh well, I'll pay my fees soon. I did pay some with my credit card online.

After all that I hung out in Rez and worked on Dan's anniversary gift and then went down to the orientation BBQ and got some free food and drinks, and then I went and chilled in my room with Liz, Morganne and Jenina and I chilled for basically the rest of the day.

I also got some textbooks today and may have found a buyer for one of my books, which is sweet.

Tomorrow I have an early day even though I don't have class till 1:30, I have to meet with the Rez Council Execs at 10am all the way over in Keyoh. And then I hope to goto the gym with Morganne and Liz and then head to my class at 1:10, here's hoping that works out.

Day Two - If the People in N401 don't keep it down, I may lose it

So today was an early morning, I had to be at the school for 9am to give tours to the new students. I did my first tour with a small group of three people the size of the groups got bigger as it got later in the day. I did three hour long tours. Jenina was in my last and largest tour group and they were a tough crowd, they didn't laugh at any of my jokes, maybe they were just nervous...the other groups laughed.... maybe I'm lame?

After the tours I went back to rez and put together a chili in the slow cooker and made myself lunch consisting of a variation of grilled cheese crossed with a pizza. It was good :) I then just hung out with Liz until Jenina got back from Rez Orientation, and then the three of us went to walmart and we got a blanket and two pillows to Jazz up the Rez couch and we tried to find something to put up on our walls but we couldn't find anything that was both nice and a good deal. But the couch looks very snazzy. We may get corresponding pillows to go on the couch.

We got back from Walmart just in time for the Rez BBQ, and we had hot dogs (I had a veggie dog) and salad of the lettuce and of the potato varieties. It was delisiou and free. Then Liz, Jenina, Morganne and I went back to our room to make cake. And it turned out super well.

Adam, Dan, Cait and Justin stopped by to say hi and to eat some cake. They had been drinking and Ryan was super wasted, Justin and Dan went go check up on him and long story short he ended up escaping from Justin and running into the woods and then they had to start a search party to find the drunken Ryan who was on his way to shane lake. Tonight is the first party out at Shane lake and I am not going though I am almost wishing I had because the people above us will not stop with the music with heavy base, like seriously people just leave. You are annoying me, and I don't want to have to go up there.

I'll probably be going to bed soon as I am tired and I have to be at the sports center tomorrow at 8am to get ready for registration. I am not happy about that but it;s my own fault. I don't understand what I was thinking when I volunteered to do that.

A New School Year, A New Start

So Today I'm going to call the First Official day of my Third Year.

I took an online course this summer, and then I took a 10 day Field course in Terrace at the end of August and that Was really Awesome. I spent a weekend with Erica in Kitimat before the course which was super duper awesome, I really miss that Girl.
The field course went well though I did have to write a paper when I finished the course which was an added stress to my life.
I came To Residence on Wednesday August 31st and The next day Liz and I got my stuff out of storage and then later in the afternoon My mom, Brother, Kari and Kristy all came up with all of my stuff from home and they helped me move it in, but I felt bad because I was really stressed and therefore in a not so happy mood. So I am sorry. They stayed till Saturday morning and got me settled, and I really appreciated them being there, and I miss them as they left yesterday morning.


The reason today is the start day for my blog this year is because Today was the official move in Day for Rez and it was a crazy day, I have been up since 7, helping people move in, trying to sell rez wear rather unsuccessfully, and just greeting people. Today Liz and I also met out First Year Roommate Jenina from Maple Ridge and she's short like we are, I'm actually the tallest person in our room right now which isn't saying much. Our other roommate is yet to be seen, but I know her name is Amy and that she is from the sunshine coast. Which is crazy because it's 4 lower mainland kids in one room. Though I do kind of hope she doesn't show, not that I have anything against her, it's just it's so much better in terms of space with only 3 people. But you will be kept posted. Maybe she'll be moving in tomorrow.

After helping with move in, I made dinner and socialized with Jenina and Liz before heading to the floor meeting at 7, which was the usual stuff, no excessive drinking, or violence, safe sex etc. It was the same old same old stuff.

After the meeting Jenina left and Liz and I went to an Art Attack event though I did get sidetracked by the left over food from the parent welcome, which was delicious btw. Eventually I made it to my destination and I found out that we were making Dream catchers and lets just say that mine will catch abstract dreams. I made it for Dan. :)

Then Katie and Liz and many others went to Wendy's a brought back Frosty's which we delicious.

On a side note: There so far has been no contact with Kallie, I've seen her. but she hasn't said a word to me, which is surprising as she tried to keep contact over the summer, we'll wait and see how things work out.

I'm now getting ready for bed as I have another early morning tomorrow. I'm doing campus tours at 9am.

On a very Happy Note: Today is mine and Dan's one year anniversary, amazingly we haven't killed each other yet. <3 You!
